The first model, which has already been unveiled, is the Kia Syros sub-compact SUV. This new tallboy SUV will be launched on February 1 with an expected price tag of Rs 9.70 lakh. Kia will be offering the Syros in six variants, namely HTK, HTK (O), HTK Plus, HTX, HTX Plus, and HTX Plus (O).
The Syros will sit between the Sonet and the Seltos in the lineup. On the outside, it boasts a very modern and futuristic design language with a boxy silhouette. As for the features, it will come equipped with a 30-inch Trinity panoramic display, two-spoke steering wheel, automatic climate control, ventilated front and rear seats, and many others.

The Carens MPV is a popular MPV offered by Kia in India. Over the last few years, it has seen some mild changes. However, the company is now gearing up for the launch of the Carens facelift. This time around, it will get a thorough redesign on the outside and an updated interior as well. At the front, the Carens will come equipped with a set of new L-shaped LED DRLs and new LED headlights.
Apart from this, it will also get a revised front bumper. On the side profile, a set of new alloy wheels is expected. Meanwhile, the rear will see the addition of a new connected LED taillight. Powertrain options of a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, 1.5-litre turbo petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine will remain the same. It has been confirmed that the new model will be launched in 2025. However, exact dates are yet to be revealed.
In addition to the Carens facelift, the company is also working on the development of the electric version of the Carens MPV. The new Carens EV will boast a design similar to the facelifted model. However, it will get a few stylistic changes, which will signify its electric origin.
Reportedly, the Kia Carens EV will be launched with the same electric powertrain as the Hyundai Creta Electric. This means that it will come with the same 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery packs. The former will provide a range of 390 km, and the latter will offer 473 km on a single full charge. The Carens EV is expected to be launched by late 2025 with a price tag of Rs 20 lakh.
Another electric vehicle from Kia, which will be making its debut this year, will be the Syros EV. The electrified version of this sub-compact SUV is expected to be launched by August of this year. In terms of design, it will look very similar to the ICE Syros, but it will come equipped with a few EV-specific design cues.
The Kia Syros EV is expected to be powered by a single front axle-mounted electric motor. As for the battery pack options, it could get a 42 kWh and 49 kWh battery pack. The real-world driving range of the bigger battery pack variant will be around 320 km on a single full charge.
