Kia Sonet, Seltos And Carens Selling At Discounts Of Upto Rs. 1.89 Lakh
The South Korean automotive giant Kia is currently offering a significant discount on its popular models. These discounts are being offered by the brand on the MY2024 and MY2025 models, and they include cash discounts, exchange offers, scrappage bonuses, and loyalty benefits. It should be noted that these discounts depend on the location and dealership. So, before you get excited, you have to check in with your local dealership.
Kia Offering Huge Discounts
Seltos
First off, let's talk about the discounts being offered on the popular mid-size SUV, the Seltos. The MY2024 1.5-litre turbo-petrol variant is getting the maximum discount of Rs 1.89 lakh. This is the highest for any Kia model. Also, the 1.5-litre diesel variant is getting a significant discount of Rs 1.84 lakh.
Coming to the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine model, it is getting a discount of Rs 96,000. As for the MY2025 models, the 1.5-litre turbo variants are getting a Rs 55,000 discount, and the naturally aspirated petrol engine variants are getting a Rs 52,000 discount.
Sonet
Moving on to the Sonet sub-compact SUV, the MY2024 models are getting more discounts. Surprisingly, the diesel variant of the Sonet is getting the highest discount of Rs 1.64 lakh. Meanwhile, the turbo-petrol variants are getting benefits of Rs 1.42 lakh. As for the naturally aspirated petrol engine variants, they are getting discounts of up to Rs 83,000.
The MY2025 Sonet variants are also getting decent discounts. Kia is offering the MY2025 diesel variant with a discount of Rs 51,000. Meanwhile, the turbo-petrol engine model is getting a benefit of Rs 50,000. Lastly, the naturally aspirated petrol engine models are getting discounts of up to Rs 44,000.
Carens
Another one of Kia’s popular models is the Carens, which is also getting significant discounts for the MY2024 models. The turbo-petrol variants are getting discounts of up to Rs 1.60 lakh, and the diesel engine models are getting Rs 1 lakh off.
Meanwhile, the naturally aspirated petrol engine model is getting a discount of up to Rs 96,000. As for the MY2025 models, the turbo-petrol and diesel-engine models are getting Rs 53,000 discounts, and the naturally aspirated models are getting Rs 45,000.
Kia Carens Facelift Coming Soon
In other Kia news, the company is actively working on the development of the Kia Carens facelift in India. The new model will feature a heavily redesigned front end. It will come equipped with a new grille, new LED headlights, and new LED DRLs, which will look similar to the new Sonet and Seltos. It will also get a set of new front and rear bumpers.
On the side profile, it will be getting a set of new alloy wheels. The rear will also be updated with a new LED taillight design. As for the interior, the new Kia Carens facelift will come with minor changes inside the cabin. Kia, however, will be offering the new Carens with a 360-degree camera, along with Level 2 ADAS and a panoramic sunroof.
Powertrain options will remain the same as the current model. These include a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 115 PS and 144 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, there is another 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque. Lastly, there is also a 1.5-litre diesel engine, which makes 116 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque.
