Today, as we unveil the new EV6, we are sure that it will redefine electric mobility standards with its latest hi-tech innovations.”

Mr. Lee further added, “Our participation in the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 underscores this commitment, where we are proud to unveil the new EV6, a key step in our journey toward carbon neutrality. With it, we are taking a bold stride in offering environmentally conscious, next-generation technology to Indian consumers.”

As usual, Kia has not disappointed on the features front. The car is equipped with 27 Level 2 ADAS features, including Front Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA) – City/Pedestrian/Cyclist/Junction Turning, Forward Collision Avoidance (FCA) – Junction Crossing, Forward Collision Avoidance – Lane Change Assist (FCA) – Oncoming & Side, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA) – Evasive Steering, Lane Follow Assist (LFA), and many more.

In terms of design, Kia retains the premium yet sporty look of the EV6. The manufacturer has made minor cosmetic changes to the electric crossover. The front end is sportier and more aggressive—bolder, sharper, and more dynamic than the outgoing model. The EV6 facelift gets up to 15 upgrades, like new 19-inch glossy finish alloy wheels, distinctive Star Map illumination with connected DRLs, and star-map LED rear combo lamps. When compared to the outgoing model, there are no chrome components on the front bumper.

The cabin of the Kia EV6 remains as spacious as before, and Kia has made minor tweaks in the cabin to make it look more premium than the previous version. The manufacturer has also added a fingerprint sensor for keyless driver recognition to start the car. Other than this, the Kia EV6 also gets an improved head-up display (HUD) and a digital rear-view mirror.

While Kia offered new features, they have retained most of the older ones. Kia continues to offer a curved panoramic screen. Both are 12.3-inch units—one being a touchscreen infotainment system, while the other is a fully digital instrument cluster. The car also offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting, a wireless charger, a digital key, vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, and over-the-air (OTA) software updates.

The Kia EV6 facelift also comes with a bigger battery. It now has a larger 84 kWh battery pack that replaces the 77.4 kWh unit in the previous model. With the bigger battery pack in place, the claimed driving range of the Kia EV6 has also improved.

It now offers a range of over 650 km. The updated EV6 is powered by an electric motor that generates 325 PS and 605 Nm. If you use a 350 kW fast charger, you can charge the EV6 from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes. With all these updates in place, Kia EV6 prices are likely to increase.
