One of the major complaints that many Kia car owners had lately was that despite buying the top-end variant of any of the cars in the lineup of the South Korean brand, they were not getting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Kia listened to their customers and decided to offer this feature with the help of an accessory. Kia has now launched an adapter for all their models that support wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The price of this new adapter is Rs 4,344 and it will enable wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in your Kia car.

This is a small adapter that will be plugged into the USB port on the center console and it will start working. This is actually a convenient feature and we are sure that many will appreciate it as it makes the center console look more organized.

Except for the Kia Syros, almost every model in their lineup is using the old interface and that is what is stopping the top-end variants from offering wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The lower variants have updated hardware which is surprisingly the reason why they have this feature.

Too many wires on the center console do not look very clean and also make things look shabby at times. With this new adapter in place, customers can simply have peace of mind and do not have to worry about the wires. Most Kia cars offer wireless phone charging, so if your phone supports this feature, you can always stay connected without worrying about losing charge.

Customers who want this accessory can get in touch with the nearest Kia dealership and have it installed. It is not just Kia - there are many other aftermarket brands that offer the same product for other cars.

Kia as a brand caught buyers’ attention in the Indian market because of its variety of models, aggressive pricing, and long list of features. Kia and Hyundai are brands that are known to offer several segment-first features.

KIA Seltos GT Line

This new accessory is indeed a step towards increased convenience for customers and catering to customer needs. Kia’s first product for the Indian market was the Seltos, which became an instant hit. Soon after that, they came up with the Kia Carnival MPV, and then came the Sonet sub-4-meter SUV. This is also an extremely popular SUV in its segment.

After the Sonet, we got the Carens MPV and then Kia launched the EV6, EV9, Syros and Carens Clavis in the market. Kia recently launched their first electric vehicle in this segment the Carens Clavis EV. It is the first seven-seater MPV in this category.

Kia is now working on the next-generation Seltos and the SUV has been spotted testing on our roads several times. It is likely to look different from the current version and it will also have a long list of features. The next-generation model of the Seltos is expected to get launched in the market next year, but a hybrid version of the SUV will only be launched after a year or more.
