Finally, after keeping Indian automotive enthusiasts waiting for a long time, the Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has launched the successor to the Huracan in India. It is called the Lamborghini Temerario, and it has been launched with a price tag of a whopping Rs 6 crore. The Temerario’s global debut took place at the Monterey Car Week last year in August. This new supercar ditches the legendary V10 motor and instead gets a powerful V8 with a plug-in setup, making 920 bhp.

Lamborghini Temerario: Launched in India

The new Lamborghini Temerario replaces the Huracan, which was one of the brand's most successful products to date. This supercar continues to boast the super edgy wedge-shaped silhouette of the Huracan. However, it gets a completely new overall design. At the front, the Temerario gets a set of sleek LED headlights and an aggressive front bumper with hexagonal LED DRLs.

On the side profile, this arrow-shaped supercar gets a set of 20-inch front alloy wheels and 21-inch rear alloy wheels. As for the doors, sadly, like the Huracan that it replaces, it gets the same conventional door handles. The scissor doors are reserved for the V12 Lamborghini supercars and hypercars. It also gets sharp side skirts and large air vents behind the doors.

Moving to the rear, the Temerario gets a set of high-mounted central exhaust tips, which look very futuristic and bold. It also gets a set of hexagonal LED taillights and an aggressive rear bumper with a large diffuser. The car also gets a transparent engine bay to show off the beautiful hybrid powertrain of this supercar.

Interior

Moving on to the interior, Lamborghini has left no stone unturned. The all-new Temerario gets a fighter jet-inspired cabin. It has been given a 12.3-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, which provides the driver with all the necessary information about the vehicle. It also gets a vertically positioned 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Additionally, it also gets a 9.1-inch passenger display as well. Like all Lamborghinis, the Temerario is also offered with generous amounts of carbon fiber, leather, and a new material called Corsatex by Dinamica suede. There are endless custom options for the customers to choose from if they opt for Lamborghini’s bespoke Ad-Personam programme.

Optional features of the Lamborghini Temerario include carbon fiber sport bucket seats, a fighter jet-style flip-up start/stop button, and a heated, ventilated, and 18-way adjustable driver's seat. As for the safety tech, the Temerario comes with ABS, EBD, multiple airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and ADAS.

Now, coming to the main highlight of the Lamborghini Temerario, the new supercar comes equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 motor. This motor alone is capable of producing 800 bhp and 730 Nm torque and redlines at 10,000 rpm. However, taking things up a notch, this supercar also gets three electric motors, which take its power up to 920 bhp and torque up to 800 Nm.

Transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, and 0–100 kmph happens in just 2.7 seconds, which is mind-boggling. It can hit a top speed of 343 kmph, and it also offers 13 driving modes, including an electric-only mode, which is meant for quiet starts and small-distance travels. The Temerario takes on rivals like the Ferrari 296 GTB and the McLaren 750S.
