Skoda is set to up its game in India. The Czech manufacturer seems to have plans to launch a bunch of luxurious and sporty cars and SUVs in India in 2025, and there could even be EVs. India, for the brand, is an important market and the proposed launches underline the same. Skoda will bring several of its global models to India this year, and will showcase the same at the Bharat Mobility Expo next week. Here are 5 luxurious new Skoda cars and SUVs lined up for India this year.

All New Superb

The Skoda Superb holds a high reputation among Indian buyers. The previous generations were loved for the luxury and European driving experience they offered. Skoda India will now launch the fourth generation (B9) of this D-segment sedan in the country. Unlike the previous generations that were assembled locally, the new generation will come as CBUs. The prices could be rather high as well.

The fourth generation Superb features Skoda’s new ‘Modern Solid’ design philosophy. It will be larger than the predecessor and will have highlights like an octagonal grille and matrix LED headlamps with new Crystallinium elements.

The cabin will be roomier and will have a lot of features- a free-standing 13-inch infotainment display with ChatGPT integration, a ventilated phone box for fast-charging smartphones, ambient lighting, seats with pneumatic massage functions, an optional HUD, and a steering column-mounted gear selector.

The global Superb is available with 6 powertrain choices. Which out of these, would debut in India, remains to be seen. Most likely, the India-spec will have a 2-litre TSI engine and even feature with the Dynamic Chassis Control.

All New Kodiaq

The new generation Kodiaq will also debut at the Auto Expo. It will also come with the ‘Modern Solid’ design language. The new SUV will have Matrix LED headlamps and a roomier, better-feeling cabin. The interior will use more sustainable materials than before. The feature-list will include a head-up display, Skoda’s ‘Smart Dials’ with haptic controls, a digital cockpit for the driver, and a 13-inch infotainment system with ChatGPT integration. The gear-selector will sit on the steering column.

Octavia RS

Skoda will also showcase the Octavia RS at the Expo 2025. The performance sedan will be powered by the 2-litre TSI petrol engine, presumably in a higher state of tune- could produce 268bhp and 370Nm when launched. The transmission would be a DSG unit. It would also be sharper and more aggressive than the regular Octavia. The sedan will also come as a CBU.

Kushaq Facelift

Skoda will also launch the facelifted Kushaq SUV in India this year. It will most likely be launched next year. The updated Kushaq will come with ADAS Level 2 features, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and many others. It will also have a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, new front and rear bumpers, and possibly revised headlights, new wheels, and revised taillights. The mechanicals including powertrains are likely to remain unchanged.

Enyaq Facelift

Skoda recently revealed the facelifted Enyaq electric SUV. It will be launched in India this year and will make an appearance at the Bharat Mobility Expo. The facelift features the ‘Modern Solid’ design philosophy. The body work has now become a lot more aerodynamic. The EV gets LED matrix DRLs, LED headlights, Skoda lettering on the bonnet and tailgate, new rear bumper and LED taillights.

On the interior, it features a brand-new layout and upmarket trims and materials. It gets a freestanding 13-inch touchscreen infotainmen, 5-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, three-zone automatic climate control, remote park assist, predictive adaptive cruise control and more.

The Enyaq will be offered in two battery pack options- 59 kWh and 77 kWh. The smaller is expected to deliver 431 km in range while the larger could do with 588 km. The Enyaq 85 variant will have a 282 bhp motor. The Enyaq 60 will produce 201 bhp.
