5 Electric Mahindra SUVs Coming To The 2025 Auto Expo

Mahindra has confirmed its participation in the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Given the manufacturer’s vision to become a top EV brand, we expect to see a lot of its electric SUV offerings at the Auto Expo. Let’s take a quick stroll through 5 Mahindra electric SUVs to be expected there.
Yes, you can expect to see the BE 6 at the Bharat Mobility Expo. Mahindra recently revealed its electric-origin SUV duo- the BE 6 and XEV 9e. The BE 6 has been designed ground up and looks radical and equally appealing. The vehicle comes in three variants- Pack 1, 2 and 3. The base variant is priced at 18.9 lakh, ex-showroom.
Two battery packs are available on the BE 6- 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The rear-mounted electric motor produces 280 hp and 380 Nm. The smaller battery is claimed to deliver a range of 535 km per charge.
What to expect from it at the Auto Expo you ask? Well, out of the three variants, Mahindra has revealed the prices of the base-spec Pack ONE and the range-topping Pack THREE. The mid-spec Pack 2 strikes a balance in terms of value offered and could emerge to be the most preferred trim. The prices of this would be out only at the Expo.
The XEV 9e will also be available in three variants- Pack ONE, TWO and THREE. It is the electric coupe version of the XUV 700. The base variant has an ex-showroom introductory price of 21.9 lakh. The top-spec comes with a sticker price of 30.5 lakh, making for a difference of 8.6 lakh between the top and bottom trims.
The interior shares a lot of its design and components with the XUV 700. The vehicle comes with a lot of features like a 3-screen display cluster, dual-zone ambient lighting, automatic climate control, MAIA – Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Architecture, 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, and a panoramic glass roof.
The vehicle gets two battery packs- 59 kWh and 79 kWh- like the BE 6. The larger battery will offer 656 km of range, and the 59 kWh will deliver 542 km of range. Over a 175 kW DC fast charger, 20-80% refilling will take just 20 minutes. Both the BE 6 and XEV 9e are based on Mahindra’s indigenously developed INGLO platform.
Another product to be expected at the Bharat Mobility Expo is the XEV 7e. This is basically the XUV 700 EV. A spy shot of the same was recently shared by Dhruv Attri. The XUV700 Electric or XEV 7E features an LED bar, drop-down LED DRLs, a triangular design of the headlamp cluster, a closed front grille, fresh front and rear bumpers, all-new alloy wheels, low-resistance tyres, and more.
The cabin would get a modern design with a triple-screen setup, steering wheel with illuminated logo, airplane-style captain seats, multi-zone climate control, seat ventilation, a panoramic sunroof or infinity glass roof with dynamic lights, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), leatherette upholstery, a 360-degree camera, a premium audio system, and electrically adjustable seats with a memory function, among others.
The SUV will come with the same 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs as the BE6 and XEV 9E. It could have similar range figures as well. We will get to know more about the XEV 7e closer to its Auto Expo debut. Upon launch, it will compete with the upcoming Safari EV.
Another Mahindra electric SUV to look out for at the Bharat Mobility Expo is the RALL-E concept. It is essentially the off-road version of the BE 6, and differs from the regular BE 6 in many ways. Mahindra had previously showcased it at the Mahindra EV Fashion Festival. It looks more rugged, butch and has an off-road spec version.
The concept was showcased in two colours- Neon Green or Yellow shade. The LED DRL design is different, roof rack and there is a large headlamp that sits on the bumper. The vehicle gets an off-road spec bumper and has a good approach and departure angles. There are skid plates, and off-road tyres as well. No alloy wheels, but capable steel rims.
The Mahindra RALL-E gets a dual-motor setup. For now, Mahindra is not offering AWD dual motor configurations on the regular BE 6. The concept too, is based on the INGLO platform, and will likely have the same battery options as the regular electric SUVs.
Mahindra is also working on an electric SUV based on the Mahindra XUV 3XO. When launched, it will replace the XUV 400 EV. The design will borrow heavily from the ICE version. The powertrain will likely remain the same as the XUV 400. It will thus have the 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh battery packs. The electric motor will be able to produce up to 150 PS and 310 Nm. We expect the XUV 3XO EV to break cover at the Auto Expo 2025.
