After the launch of the Thar Roxx, Mahindra is now planning for their next big launch next year. It is going to be their new range of electric SUVs, the Mahindra BE.05 being one such upcoming product. We have been seeing spy pictures and videos of the upcoming Mahindra EVs for quite some time. This time around, we have a new video that shows the dual-screen setup on the dashboard of the Mahindra BE.05.

The video has been shared by Automobile with Bruce on their YouTube channel. In this video, we see a Mahindra BE.05 Coupe SUV parked outside a hotel. The electric coupe was probably parked for charging. The video was recorded at night, which was beneficial because we got to see a few more details that were usually missing in the videos shot during the daytime.

In this newly surfaced video, we see the twin-screen setup on the dashboard of the BE.05. One of them is the instrument cluster, while the other is a touchscreen infotainment system. Unlike some other Mahindra electric cars, this one doesn’t have a triple display. We also see the flat top and bottom steering wheel with the BE logo in the center. The logo is illuminated, similar to what we see in the current-gen Tata cars. The exact location where the video was shot is unknown, but it looks like Mahindra is testing the electric car alongside a Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric SUV.

We see an Ioniq 5 parked next to it. The charging port is on the rear right fender of the electric SUV. The BE.05 will have a very aggressive design, and the car also looks extremely futuristic. The car appears almost production-ready. We have seen a few pictures of the BE.05 interiors in the past, and from those images, we now have an idea of what to expect.

There will be a rotary knob to control the infotainment screen on the center console, along with a proper gear lever. There is also a plastic panel that divides the driver and co-passenger sides of the cabin. The EV has AC vents that are integrated into the dashboard and run across its width.

Mahindra unveiled the BE.05 concept back in 2022. It has a coupe-like exterior design, which is gaining popularity. Tata recently unveiled India’s first coupe electric SUV, the Curvv.ev, and deliveries for this SUV have also commenced.

The BE.05 test mule has been spotted testing several times, and the test mule looks very similar to the concept Mahindra showcased. It has a drop-down design for LED DRLs with projector LED headlamps and an angular-looking front fascia. As this is an EV, the front grille is completely closed. We also see the sharp and sleek-looking tail lamps with LED connecting bars in the video.

The BE.05 is made using Mahindra’s new INGLO EV platform, which will also be used for their other new electric cars. The exact specifications of the battery pack are not available, but it is expected that the Mahindra BE.05 will have a driving range of 435-450 km. Mahindra also showcased a Rall-E version of the BE.05.
