Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition Spied On The Road Even Before Deliveries Commence [Video]
Mahindra BE6 is in great acceptance in India. This electric SUV was launched in November last year, and the deliveries began early this year. In August, Mahindra organized a grand event in Mumbai, for debuting its all-new NU_IQ platform and show off a range of interesting concepts. As part of it, Mahindra launched a limited-run Batman special edition of the BE6. Initially, the production was limited to just 300 units. The vehicle gathered a lot of interest, forcing the carmaker to soon increase its production to 999 units.
Deliveries are set to begin on September 20, 2025- also celebrated as the international Batman day. With days left for the same, the BE6 Batman edition has now been spotted on public roads. A video showing the electric SUV has now been shared on YouTube.
In the short clip, we see the BE6 Batman edition rolling through a road in Mumbai. It has a Trade Certificate (TC) registration plate. It is seen moving slowly through the crowded road, and is being filmed from a motorcycle that’s following it. Look carefully and you will see the Batman insignia on the tailgate.
More About The BE6 Batman Edition
This special edition of the BE6 is inspired by the Batman movies- specifically the Dark Knight trilogy. It is a first-of-its-kind collab between Mahindra and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP), and is thus very exciting for fans of the franchise.
It comes finished in a stylish Satin Black colour. The callipers and suspension are finished in Alchemy Gold. This contrast treatment can be seen at various areas inside the cabin as well. The Batman edition rides on 20 inch wheels.
Batman decals can be found on the two front doors. You’ll also see ‘Bat’ logos on the hub caps, front fenders and on the boot lid (the video shows it). Inside, the electric SUV gets a dark colour scheme. The cabin makes generous use of Charcoal leather. The shroud around the driver has a brushed Gold finish.
Contrast stitching adorns the seats. Alchemy Gold is used on the steering wheel’s in-touch controller, electric parking brake, and even the keyfob. The vehicle comes with an illuminated glass roof that features a Bat logo as well. Bringing in more excitement, the puddle lamps project the bat logo and it is also displayed on the driver’s display on startup.
The Batman Edition BE6 gets no change on the mechanical front. It is based on the same INGLO skateboard platform as the regular BE6. Though Mahindra offers two BYD-sourced battery options on the BE6 range, just the larger 79 kWh unit is available on the Batman edition. It has a claimed range of 682km per charge.
The smaller 59 kWh unit offers 556 km per charge. The Batman edition’s electric motor produces the same 281 bhp and 380 Nm as the regular Pack 3, and the vehicle does the 0-100 kph sprint in just 6.7 seconds. Mahindra offers four driving modes on it- Default, Range, Everyday, and Race.
Owing to its exclusive nature, the Batman Edition BE6 commands a slight price premium over the standard BE6. It has an ex-showroom price of Rs 27.79 lakh, whereas the regular BE6 Pack III is priced at Rs 27.65 lakh, ex-showroom.
All 999 Units Got Sold Out In Seconds
Mahindra took the booking window live on August 23, 2025, at 11:00 am. The revised production cap stood at 999 units. The carmaker, in a release, announced that all of these found takers in just 135 seconds!
