Mahindra launched their two new electric SUVs, the BE6 and the XEV9E, in the market last year. Deliveries for them started this year, and both these models received an overwhelming response from buyers initially. While Mahindra is selling their EVs on one side, they are also working on their future products. One such concept that Mahindra had shown to the world was the BE6 Rall-E. The production version of the same has now been spotted testing once again.

The images have been shared by a user on a social media platform. In the post, a heavily camouflaged Mahindra BE6 is seen parked in a basement parking lot. It looks like the car was parked there for charging. We also see a Mahindra XEV9E parked right next to it.

The BE6 Rall-E is a slightly different-looking version of the BE6 that is already on sale. Mahindra initially didn’t have any plans to bring the BE6 Rall-E to the production line.

However, with the kind of response they have been receiving for the regular BE6 as well as the XEV9E, it looks like Mahindra decided to go ahead with it. The BE6 Rall-E is expected to be launched next year.

In fact, the car is actually a rugged version of the electric SUV with several cosmetic changes on the outside. This is not the first time we have seen the BE6 Rall-E on test, and this one looks just like the one in older images.

The BE6 Rall-E is the off-road-spec version, so it looks a bit more rugged and butch to justify its off-road character. The concept that was revealed earlier was finished in a neon green or yellow shade. The concept showcased a different-looking LED DRL design. It featured a sleek DRL paired with a large round headlamp on the bumper.

The test mule seen here also gets thick-walled, off-road-spec tyres with small steel rims to suit the look. The BE6 and XEV9E currently on sale in the market come with an RWD setup. They are capable of offering AWD with a dual-motor setup, but unfortunately, Mahindra isn’t offering it yet.

The Rall-E version of the BE6 is designed as an off-road-spec vehicle, and we expect it to come with a dual-motor or AWD setup. In addition to AWD, Mahindra will likely include electronic aids such as Hill Descent Control, MLD, and BLD to enhance overall performance.

The Mahindra BE6 Rall-E is based on the same platform as the regular electric SUV. It uses the INGLO platform, which is specifically designed for EVs.

Coming to the range and battery pack options, we expect Mahindra to offer the same choices as the BE6. The BE6 is available with two battery pack options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh.

The smaller battery pack offers a claimed driving range of 535 km, while the larger one provides up to 682 km. The test mule seen here in the post looks almost production-ready.
