Mahindra has started delivering the BE6 and XUV 9E EVs in the market, and we have already begun seeing a bunch of videos about the EVs online. While Mahindra is busy producing and delivering the new EVs, they are also working on their future products. It looks like Mahindra is working on the production version of the BE6 Rall-E, which was showcased as a concept.

We recently came across a spy picture that shows a heavily camouflaged version of the BE6 Rall-E. The image, which has now surfaced online, shows a heavily camouflaged electric SUV that resembles the BE6. If you look at the car carefully, you’ll notice that the SUV is slightly different from the regular BE6. The image was shared with us by one of our followers on WhatsApp.

It doesn’t have flashy wheels, and we can also see a roof rack on it. Only the rear of the SUV is visible. The exterior design of the electric SUV is similar to that of the BE6; however, the manufacturer is likely to make cosmetic changes to differentiate it from the standard BE6. This is the off-road spec version, so it looks a bit more rugged and butch to justify its off-road character.

The concept that was revealed earlier was finished in a neon green or yellow shade. The concept showcased had a different-looking LED DRL design. It features a sleek DRL paired with a large round headlamp on the bumper.

The test mule seen here also gets thick-walled, off-road spec tyres with small steel rims to suit the look. The BE6 and XUV 9E currently on sale in the market come with a RWD setup. They are capable of offering AWD with a dual-motor setup, but unfortunately, Mahindra isn’t offering it yet.

The Rall-E version of the BE6 is designed as an off-road spec vehicle, and we expect it to come with a dual-motor or AWD setup. In addition to AWD, Mahindra will likely include electronic aids such as Hill Descent Control, MLD, and BLD to enhance overall performance.

The Mahindra BE6 Rall-E is based on the same platform as the regular electric SUV. It uses the INGLO platform, which is specifically designed for EVs.

Coming to the range and battery pack options, we expect Mahindra to offer the same choices as the BE6. The BE6 is available with two battery pack options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The smaller battery pack offers a claimed driving range of 535 km, while the larger one provides up to 682 km.

Mahindra is yet to share any official confirmation about the BE6 Rall-E. They had initially stated that they didn’t have any plans to make a production version of the BE6 Rall-E concept. However, with the kind of response they have been receiving for the regular BE6 as well as the XUV 9E, we believe Mahindra might have decided to change its decision.

We hope to see more images of the BE6 Rall-E production version in the coming weeks and months. Apart from this, Mahindra is also working on the electric version of the XUV700, which is likely to be called the XUV 7E.
