Mahindra BE6: Variants And Pricing Explained

Putting an end to long days of anticipation, Mahindra has revealed the variant-wise details and prices of the newly launched BE 6. Initially, we were told that there would be three trims- Pack ONE, TWO and THREE- each to both the BE 6 and XEV 9e. Now it looks like the carmaker has added two new trims to the electric SUV- Pack ONE Above and Pack Three Select. Let’s now look at what each of these trims offers…
Pack ONE is the entry-spec variant of BE 6. Priced at 18.9 lakh ex-showroom, it is available with the smaller 59 kWh battery pack alone. Despite being the entry-level variant, the Pack ONE comes with ample kit levels.
It gets dual displays- a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and 12.3-inch touchscreen, Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Connected car tech, push button start/stop, automatic AC with rear vents and Pet and Camp modes, tilt and telescopic adjustments for the steering wheel, cooled centre console storage space, 65-watt Type-C phone charging ports for front and rear seat passengers and cruise control. This variant gets a 6-speaker audio system ( 4 speakers + 2 tweeters).
On the exterior, this variant gets dual-pod automatic LED headlights, LED tail lamps, 18-inch aero wheels, and a usable frunk. Adding to its butch look, the Pack ONE BE 6 gets Black body cladding on all four sides. The safety suite includes 6 airbags, all-wheel-disc brakes, an electronic parking brake, rain-sensing wipers, a low tyre pressure indicator, and a rear parking camera with sensors.
On the inside, the vehicle gets fabric seat upholstery, manually adjustable driver’s seat and a 2-step reclining function for the rear seat.
Price: 18.9 lakh (ex-showroom)
On top of what’s offered on the Pack ONE variant, the Pack ONE Above gets features like a fixed panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, auto-dimming IRVM, dual-zone automatic AC, Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and rear defogger. Unlike the base variant, this comes with 19-inch wheels.
Price: 20.5 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Pack TWO gets front fog lamps with cornering functions, sequential turn indicators and a signature lighting sequence on startup. On the interior, it gets soft-touch fabric materials premium trims, and a rear parcel tray. This variant also comes with a digital key, Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), front parking sensors, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
Price: 21.9 lakh (ex-showroom)
This too is a new variant and slots below the Pack THREE. The exterior design here consists of C-shaped LED DRLs and tail lights. Even the tail lights feature sequential lighting. The variant also has electrically deployable flush door handles. The cabin gets leatherette seat upholstery, leatherette-wrapped steering wheel, and multiple trims and touches of it.
The cabin gets touch-enabled switches on the steering wheel and centre console, selfie camera, dual wireless charger for front occupants, a 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat with adjustable lumbar support, ventilated front seats, auto-folding mirrors, a powered tailgate and keyless entry.
The safety kit here gets 7 airbags, auto park assist, auto-tilt ORVMs on reversing and a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitor.
Price: 24.5 lakh (ex-showroom)
Over the Pack THREE Select, the feature list gets multi-colour ambient lighting, an Augmented reality (AR) based heads-up display (HUD), and illuminated elements on the panoramic glass roof. The ADAS suite gets auto lane change and cross-traffic alerts as well. The larger 79 kWh battery pack comes only on the Pack THREE variant.
