Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition Deliveries Commence: Mega Delivery Event At Mumbai
After a slight delay, Mahindra Automotive has finally commenced the deliveries of the brand-new BE 6 Batman Edition in India. The first BE 6 Batman Edition, one of 999 units, was recently delivered in Gujarat. Apart from it, a special BE 6 Batman Edition mass delivery event was organised in Mumbai as well. The videos of these deliveries have now been shared online.
First BE 6 Batman Delivery
The BE 6 Batman Edition delivery videos have been shared on Instagram by Mahindra Electric SUVs on their page. The first delivery of the BE 6 Batman Edition took place in Gujarat. It was delivered by Nanavati Mahindra to Karan Manjibhai Dungrani. In the video clip, the owner can be seen arriving at the dealership for the elaborate delivery experience.
He first finished signing the paperwork for the vehicle and was then taken for the delivery, following which he was presented with a bouquet and then a cake to commemorate the delivery. After cutting the cake, he removed the cover off the BE 6 Batman Edition, was handed over the key to the vehicle, and then sat in it to check it out.
BE 6 Batman Edition Mumbai Mega Delivery Event
In addition to the first delivery in Gujarat, Mahindra Automotive in Mumbai also organised a special mega delivery event exclusively for the BE 6 Batman Edition. In this particular event, around 16 BE 6s were lined up for delivery to their respective owners. These SUVs were parked in a special venue created to give the owners a unique experience.
We can note in the video that the vehicles were parked next to each other and a special life-size Batman statue was also placed. Following the display, the owners and their families of these BE 6 Batman Edition cars started arriving at the event. They then began checking out their cars before they all sat for the presentation and handover ceremony.
Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition
For those who may not be aware, on August 15 this year, which was India's 79th Independence Day, Mahindra Automotive announced that it would be producing 300 units of the BE 6 Batman Edition. However, after gauging the excitement, the company increased this number from 300 to 999. What was even more interesting was that all 999 units were sold in just 135 seconds.
Now, coming to the speciality of the BE 6 Batman Edition, this SUV is a result of a first-of-its-kind tie-up between Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) and Mahindra Automotive. On the outside, it gets a Batmobile-like satin black paint job. It also gets gold-painted suspension components and brake callipers, which add an exquisite contrast to the vehicle.
Other notable highlights include 20-inch aero blade-style alloy wheels. Additionally, the SUV also gets Batman branding on the seats, boost button, and various interior labels. The infotainment system of this BE 6 gets a special Batman-inspired welcome animation. Mahindra Automotive, in order to make the customer experience special, has allowed customers to select their preferred badge number from 001 to 999.
The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition is based on the Pack Three variant of this electric SUV. It comes equipped with a 79 kWh battery pack offering a range of 683 km on a single full charge. As for the motor, it gets a 282 bhp and 380 Nm torque-generating motor powering the rear wheels.
