Mahindra Scorpio-N Base Trim Modified To Top-End Mafia Spec [Video]

The price of the Mahindra Scorpio-N starts at Rs. 13.85 lakh and goes up to Rs. 24.54 lakh, targeting customers of different budgets. If you own the base Z2 trim or planning to buy one, you can modify it to the top trim in just a fraction of the price. Today, we will cover a base model Scorpio-N which has been tastefully done to be the top model.
The project is carried out and showcased on YouTube by Vig Auto Accessories. In the video, we can see a base spec Scorpio-N SUV which is fully loaded to be the top model. Before we start, it is important to note that certain features such as a sunroof, keyless entry and push button start cannot be added aftermarket.
The video starts by highlight the before look of the car from both the exterior and the interior. Now, let’s talk about the changes starting from the front fascia. The all black grille has been replaced with the top model’s gloss black and chrome grille.
The stock halogen reflector based headlights are switched with projector LED headlights with sequential turn signals. Fog lamps and DRLs which are missing in this trim are also added. Silver skid plates have also been added in the front, side and the rear.
Upon closer observation it can be noticed that the front grille has a camera which is a part of the aftermarket 360 degree setup installed in this SUV.
At the side, the most significant change is the 18-inch alloy wheels borrowed from the top spec ZBL trim. The ORVMs have been changed to include electric adjustment and folding functionality. In the Z2 trim, the ORVMs and door handles are not body colored which has been changed.
The door handles are replaced with Mahindra genuine black and chrome handles. Additional loadings in the side profile include C pillar chrome, foot steps, waist line chrome, roof rails, shark fin antenna and door visors with chrome inserts. The host further adds that multiple pieces which are added in this SUV are Mahindra genuine.
At the rear, the door handle of the tailgate has been replaced. Additionally, a rear spoiler with high mount stop lamp and bumper chrome is installed. Now let’s talk about the cabin which is modified to be super luxury. The theme chosen for this car is champagne gold and black.
Multiple parts of the cabin such as door pads, door arm rests, front & rear seats, dashboard and the horn pad are wrapped in champagne gold leather. Additionally, the 7D mats installed also follow the same theme of black with champagne gold. A gloss black styling kit has been added. Active ambient lighting which can change color using an app is also installed.
A small yet striking change is the replacement of rough black inner door handles with silver handles. The host specifically highlights the muscular D cut steering wheel which features leather wrapping and gloss black elements. The gear lever is also replaced with the top model’s lever. Also, multiple gloss black elements are added in the cabin for the contrast.
