Mahindra Scorpio N Z8L Variant With Level 2 ADAS Launched: Price Starts At 21.35 Lakh

Mahindra, a few days ago, had released a teaser video about an update for the Scorpio N SUV. We had speculated that the teaser was probably for the Level 2 ADAS, which is likely to be offered with the SUV in its next update. Mahindra has now officially announced the introduction of Level 2 ADAS features in its top-end Z8L variants. The price for the updated Scorpio N with Level 2 ADAS features starts at Rs 21.35 lakh, ex-showroom.

The Mahindra Scorpio N also marked its three-year milestone, and Mahindra mentions that since its launch, they have sold over 2.5 lakh units of this SUV. Coming to the Level 2 ADAS suite, it consists of features like Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Smart Pilot Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, and High Beam Assist.

Apart from this, the Scorpio N ADAS is also equipped with exclusive features such as Speed Limit Assist and Front Vehicle Start Alert, marking a first for Mahindra ICE SUVs. Speed Limit Assist actively warns drivers based on the applicable speed limits for specific roads.

In Adaptive Cruise Control mode, it helps adjust cruise speed to match speed limits effortlessly with a single-button operation. Front Vehicle Start Alert ensures heightened traffic awareness by alerting drivers through visuals, chimes, and haptic feedback when a stationary vehicle in front begins moving.

The Z8L variant is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol MT 7-seater is priced at Rs 21.35 lakh, and the AT version is Rs 22.77 lakh. The same variant in 6-seater configuration costs Rs 21.60 lakh and Rs 22.96 lakh for the manual and AT, respectively.

The 2WD MT diesel costs Rs 21.75 lakh and Rs 23.24 lakh for the 7-seater manual and AT versions. The 6-seater version is priced at Rs 22.12 lakh and Rs 23.48 lakh. The 4x4 version of the ADAS-equipped variant is available with a 7-seater option only. The price starts at Rs 23.86 lakh for the manual and Rs 25.42 lakh for the automatic. All prices mentioned here are ex-showroom.

Apart from introducing Level 2 ADAS features, Mahindra has also introduced a Z8T variant. The Z8T offers a compelling mix of premium features, including R18 diamond-cut alloy wheels, a 12-speaker Sony-branded audio system, front camera, front parking sensors, 6-way powered driver seat, electronic parking brake (EPB), ventilated front seats, and an auto-dimming IRVM. It is being offered as a value-for-money variant, and the price for the Z8T starts at Rs 20.29 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes all the way up to Rs 24.36 lakh, ex-showroom.

The Mahindra Scorpio N is available in the Indian market and is being exported to other countries too. It is quite popular in the Australian market, and with these feature additions, the SUV is likely to find more customers in both India and other markets.

The Scorpio N is available with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol and a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine option. Both petrol and diesel get manual and automatic transmission options, while only select diesel versions get 4x4 as an option. The price for the Mahindra Scorpio N now starts at Rs 13.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
