New Mahindra Thar Roxx At Dealerships: Mocha Grey Interiors Will Replace Ivory White Interiors

A lot of people criticized Mahindra Automotive for launching its new lifestyle off-roader, the Thar Roxx, with a white interior. Many people complained that this all-white interior is very hard to maintain and gets dirty extremely quickly. So, after listening to the buyers, the company started offering a Mocha Brown interior in the Thar Roxx. However, it has now been reported that the company is permanently discontinuing the Ivory White interior. It will now be replaced with a Mocha Grey interior.

Mahindra Scorpio-N to Get Mocha Grey Interiors

Recently, a few spy shots of the Mahindra Thar Roxx with Mocha Grey interiors have been shared on Instagram by Terrain Conquerors on their page. In these images, we can note that the lower portion of the dashboard, front and rear seats of the SUV, and the armrest have been finished in a light grey shade, which the company is calling Mocha Grey. In addition to these, the Mocha Grey color can be seen on the door cards as well.

Ivory White Interiors to Be Discontinued

It has been reported that Mahindra Automotive is planning to discontinue offering the Ivory White interior, which it launched the Thar Roxx with. As stated above, the company, soon after the launch, announced the Mocha Brown interiors for the Thar Roxx. It is the same Mocha Brown interior theme that is offered with the Scorpio-N.

Ever since the launch, many automotive enthusiasts, experts, and buyers have complained that the Ivory White interior gets dirty very quickly. They added that it is very hard to clean, and no matter how much they try to protect it, it eventually gets dirty. What a lot of buyers did soon after buying the Thar Roxx with a white interior was send it to aftermarket shops to get the plastic parts painted in different colors and add different-colored seat covers.

Other Changes on the Mahindra Thar Roxx

Apart from the Mocha Grey interiors, the new Thar Roxx is likely to not get any mechanical changes or feature upgrades. It will continue to come equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver display, wireless charging, automatic AC, a Harman Kardon 9-speaker audio system, ventilated front seats, rear AC vents, and a panoramic sunroof.

The Roxx also comes with six airbags as standard, along with other safety features such as a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with an auto-hold function, disc brakes on all four wheels, TPMS, Level 2 ADAS, and 18-19 inch wheels. Recently, the company updated the Thar Roxx with three new features, namely keyless entry, a sliding function for the front passenger-side armrest, and more aerodynamic wipers.

It will also continue to be powered by the same 2.2-litre mHawk diesel and the 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engines, both available with manual and automatic transmissions. The petrol motor generates 174 bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, the diesel version makes 172 bhp and 370 Nm of torque.

It was custom-made for him, and his SUV received his initials, “JA,” on the C-pillar, fender, and headrests inside the vehicle. As for the color of his SUV, the actor has chosen the classy shade of Stealth Black for his SUV.
