The XUV 3XO is priced at Rs. 7.49 lakh for the base MX1 trim and the price goes up to Rs. 15.49 lakh for the top end AX7 Luxury model with turbo engine and automatic transmission. The host mentions that according to her, Mahindra will soon increase the prices of the base trim.

The host starts the video with the front fascia of the SUV which gets projector based halogen headlights. A good part here is that the XUV 3XO comes with DRLs as standard. Fog lamps are not offered in this trim. The grille is the same as the higher variants which is finished in gloss black with chrome elements. The front profile also gets a silver skid plate.

The SUV rides on 16-inch steel rims. However, wheel covers are not offered in this trim. The host shows the body cladding which is exactly the same as the higher variants. A good point about the base spec XUV 3XO is that it comes with gloss black ORVMs with integrated indicators and electric adjustment as standard.

Multiple cars of the same segment and a higher segment do not offer these features as standard. The A pillar and the C pillar are finished in gloss black but the B pillar is body colored. Roof rails are not offered in this trim.

The rear profile of the XUV 3XO misses out on multiple essential features such as rear wiper with washer, defogger, antenna and a reverse parking camera. Connected tail lamps which is an industry trend nowadays is absent in this trim.

However, the taillights are LED units. The rear bumper accommodates reflectors, a silver skid plate and two reverse parking sensors. The host shows us the boot space as well which can be accessed by pressing a button on the tailgate.

Boot space has been a major concern with the XUV 300 but Mahindra has resolved this issue to some extent with the XUV 3XO. Parcel tray is missing while 60:40 split seats are offered as standard.

The cabin of the XUV 3XO gets multiple features such as all four power windows, beige and black cabin, analog instrument cluster with a multi information display, premium gear knob, leather wrapped front armrest, drive modes, glossy black center console, fabric upholstery and much more. However, multiple required features such as an infotainment system, speakers and steering mounted controls are not offered.

This variant of the 3XO is available only with the less powerful turbo petrol engine paired with the 6-speed manual transmission. The engine is a 1.2-litre unit that delivers 110 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque.
