Mahindra XUV300, XUV400, XUV700, Bolero, Scorpio-N Selling At Discounts Of Upto Rs.4.4 Lakh

Have you ever thought of buying a Mahindra XUV 300? Well, now could be the best time to do so, as the manufacturer has announced attractive price cuts and savings on the sub-four-meter SUV. These are primarily targeted at the festive season. Another reason is that the XUV 300 sales have dipped after the launch of the XUV 3XO. Some dealers have also confirmed to have unsold MY23 stocks left, and are offering additional discounts and benefits on these.
Up to 1.48 lakh can now be saved on the XUV 300. This, of course, varies with variant, dealer and stock availability. Both the petrol and diesel versions qualify for discounts. The confirmed savings go up to 1.48 lakh on select variants. Some dealers offer additional benefits and price cuts on unsold MY23 cars. Let us look at the discount details of various variants and trims.
The base-spec W2 variant is available with a cash discount of Rs 11,000. 30,000 can be had in exchange bonus and there are also corporate bonuses worth ₹4,000/₹3,000 available. The W4 Sunroof variant offers up to 19,000 in cash discount. This variant is available in both petrol and diesel iterations. The petrol comes with an exchange bonus of 30,000, while the diesel gets a smaller 25,000.
The W6 Sunroof Non-Touch offers 74,000 cash discount and 30,000 exchange bonus on the AMT variants. Both petrol and diesel versions qualify for cuts. The W8 variant comes packed with features. It offers 91,000 in cash discounts on the petrol and 1.18 lakh on the diesel iterations. There is an additional exchange bonus of 30,000 applicable as well. The W8 Opt ( top-spec) also offers similar benefits except that the petrol here gets 97,000 in cash discounts, instead of the W8’s 91,000.
The W8 trim- both W8 and W8 Opt- of the XUV300, powered by the diesel engine offers the maximum savings this festive season. The total benefits on these amount to 1.48 lakh rupees.
Discounts are also available on the TGDi turbocharged petrol version. The W4 TGDI gets cash discounts ranging between ₹19,000 and ₹74,000, while the W8 TGDi gets a whopping ₹97,000 off. No other benefits apply to the TGDi models.
The XUV 300 was often blamed for having a dated design and compromised boot space. It wasn’t the most exciting car to look at, nor did it have a flashy cabin experience. These concerns were addressed well by the XUV 3XO. The SUV, introduced as a 300 replacement, is now doing well in sales.
The 3XO had a starting price of 7.49 lakh at launch. Prices of the top-spec went up to 15.49 lakh. This gave it a desirable value proposition. Nine variants are available: MX1, MX2, MX2 Pro, MX3, MX3 Pro, AX5, AX5 Luxury, AX7, and AX7 Luxury.
Unlike the plain design of the 300, the 3XO gets a flashier design for its front fascia and the rear. It gets a new grille, LED lighting, redesigned bumpers, and new wheels.
Major restyling and feature additions can be spotted inside the cabin. The SUV has ample use of soft-touch materials and premium trims inside. Notable feature additions include a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, two 10.25-inch screens, rear AC vents, and a cooled glove box.
Engine options remain the same as the XUV 300- 1.2-litre petrol,n 1.2 TGDi turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel. Both manual and automatic gearboxes are available as well.
The prices revealed at launch were all introductory. Recently Mahindra announced a price hike for the 3XO, whereby various variants become expensive by up to 30,000. This reiterates the financial and VFM sense it makes to buy a MY23 XUV 300, if you can be ok with its visual appeal and cabin quality.
Mahindra has announced discounts and benefits on the slow-selling XUV 400 EV. It already had a 2 lakh cut. For Diwali 2024, the XUV 300 EL Pro gets up to 3 lakh discounts. On unsold MY23 stock, that can be found with certain dealers, savings can go up to 4.4 lakh.
The XUV 700 recently got multiple price and variant revisions. The SUV is in high demand, and it is difficult to find unsold stock. However, if you manage to find one, you might be in for attractive offers and discounts. Certain variants of the yesteryear 700 now offer up to 1.8 lakh in savings. The MY24 model, however, gets just around 40,000 off.
The Bolero has been doing well in sales. Any unsold stock MY23 is now available with discounts of around Rs 1 lakh. The current year inventory lets you save around 35,000. The Bolero Neo may not be a huge hit, but is definitely appealing to a lot of people. This SUV now offers Rs 1.35 lakh on 2023 stock.
The Scorpio Classic owns its own crowd in the country. Its butch proportions and utilitarian nature attract buyers. There is even 4WD offered on certain variants. It qualifies for discounts of up to Rs 1.2 lakh on the old stock, especially MY23 models.
The Scorpio N had so many takers till when Mahindra introduced the Thar Roxx. Now, a lot of cannibalization happens between the two, as the Roxx manages to capture many prospective buyers of the Scorpio-N. The SUV stands out with its refinement and cabin comfort, and gets 4WD on higher variants. This Diwali, you can avail discounts of more than 1 lakh on select variants of the SUV.
The Thar Roxx deliveries are yet to begin, and the 3-door is already witnessing a drop in demand. The sales of the three door Thar fell in the past few months. Mahindra has announced discounts of up to 1.6 lakh rupees on the MY23 models. Check out our previous article to find out how much can be saved on each Thar variant.
