5 Big CONFIRMED Car Launches Of October With Launch Dates

India has its biggest festive season in October. The month is generally considered auspicious for bringing new vehicles home. Automobile manufacturers often schedule their most important launches for the same time period. Here are five big launches from various manufacturers that have been confirmed for October this year, along with launch dates.
Mahindra has not one, but three launches planned for the month. The facelifted Thar will be the first to arrive. Scheduled to launch on October 3rd, it will have notable improvements over the current three-door Thar that’s on sale here. The larger design and proportions will remain identical to those of the current SUV. The design of the new SUV was recently revealed through a few YouTube videos.
The exterior design remains largely unchanged. Minor restyling can be found in places such as front grille and front and rear bumpers. The SUV now sees the addition of a rear camera that sits at the centre of the tailgate-mounted spare wheel, much like what you see on the five-door ROXX.
The cabin, however, has more comprehensive changes. It comes with a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ROXX-like steering wheel, new door pads, new grab handle, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, USB Type-C fast-charging ports at the rear, push-button operation for opening fuel lid, and more. The engine and transmission options remain unchanged.
Launch Date: October 3, 2025
The Bolero has been a long-standing nameplate for Mahindra. The family now has two models- the standard SUV and the more comfortable NEO. Both are getting updated for Diwali. The carmaker will launch the facelifted Bolero NEO on October 6, 2025. Visual changes on the new model will include a new grille section with horizontal slats, a reworked air dam, and more.
Inside, the new Bolero NEO will have new Silver grab handles, a 10.25-inch Android touchscreen infotainment system, and multiple Chrome inserts. No changes are to be expected on the powertrain front. It will continue to be powered by the 1.5-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that makes 100 hp.
Launch Date: October 6, 2025
The facelifted Bolero will also be out on October 6th. The new vehicle will come with minor visual tweaks like a reworked four-slat front grille that comes finished in Black. The biggest change inside is the addition of a new Android-based touchscreen infotainment system.
There are no changes on the powertrain front. The facelifted Bolero features the familiar 75hp, 1.5-litre mHawk diesel engine paired with a five-speed transmission.

Though we don’t know the exact launch date yet, Citroen India will launch a new variation of the Aircross SUV, next month. It will likely be the ‘X’ version of the SUV, just like the Basalt X and C3 X. The Aircross X is expected to pack more visual appeal and will likely have a better-equipped cabin. Expect all-LED lighting and new colours. In addition to these, it will have new upholstery, ventilated front seats, CARA AI voice assistant, 360 degree camera, and more.
