The video has been shared by ANI and many others on social media platforms. In the video that has been circulating online, we see a person dressed up as the superhero character Superman sitting on the bonnet of a moving car. It looks like he was sitting on the bonnet as part of shooting a social media video.

A person who was passing through the same road spotted this stunt and decided to record a video. It is this video that has now gone viral. The stunt was being done on a public road in Delhi. The registration number of the SUV is clearly visible in the video. We can also see that the person driving the SUV was showing inappropriate gestures to the person recording the video.

After Delhi police came across the video, they traced the owner of the SUV using the details available in the video and decided to take action against them. Both the driver of the SUV and the person dressed as Spiderman were arrested, and action has been taken against the owner and driver of the Scorpio N.

Aditya & friend Arrested

Cops have identified the man in the Spiderman costume as Aditya (20), residing in Najafgarh, and the person driving the SUV as Gaurav Singh (19), residing in Mahavir Enclave. The owner and driver of the SUV have been prosecuted for dangerous driving, driving without a pollution certificate, and driving a four-wheeler without wearing a seatbelt. This act by the driver has resulted in a fine of Rs 26,000 / imprisonment or both.

Doing Stunts on Public Roads is Dangerous

We have mentioned several times in our articles that public roads are for everyone and this is not the place for anyone to do stunts. In this case, the person sitting on the bonnet could have easily fallen off and landed on the road. We see other cars passing next to the Scorpio N, and if the person were to fall on the road, the chances of him getting hit by other vehicles are also pretty high.

Also, driving a vehicle without wearing a seatbelt is dangerous too. If the SUV were to get involved in an accident, the driver could suffer serious injuries to the head as he’ll be thrown forward. Aditya sitting on the bonnet is obstructing the driver’s view, which makes things even more challenging. They are also creating inconvenience to other road users.

Not the First Time

A few months ago, we saw a similar stunt where a couple dressed up as Spiderman and woman were seen riding a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle without any helmet or safety gear. The video went viral, and cops took action against them. This incident was also from Delhi’s Najafgarh. We are not sure if the person who did the stunt on the Scorpio N is the same person or not.
