Maruti Fronx Discounts Hit Rs. 85,000 And Jimny Discounts Swell To Rs. 3.3 Lakh
The premium outlet of India’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki – Nexa, in its attempt to boost sales during the monsoon season, is offering significant discounts on two of its popular models. These models are the crossover Fronx and the off-roader Jimny. This month, the buyer of Fronx can enjoy discounts of up to Rs 85,000. Meanwhile, the off-roading enthusiasts opting for Jimny can get discounts up to an impressive Rs 3.3 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Discounts
Starting off with Maruti Suzuki’s Fronx, the unique crossover offering from the brand is now available with increased discounts. The discounts on the Fronx have been significantly enhanced, particularly for the turbo-petrol variants. Presently, these benefits are worth up to Rs 85,500. This marks an increase from the Rs 75,000 discount available earlier in the month.
The benefits for the Fronx include a Rs 32,500 cash discount and a Rs 10,000 exchange bonus. Additionally, the company has now priced the special Velocity Edition kit at Rs 43,000. The petrol manual variants come with benefits of up to Rs 32,500.
Meanwhile, the automatic variants offer discounts up to Rs 35,000. The CNG model, on the other hand, receives a Rs 10,000 discount. Recently, the company also introduced the Fronx Delta+(O) trim and the special Velocity Edition to further boost sales.
The Velocity Edition, available for a limited time, starts at Rs 7.29 lakh (ex-showroom) and includes all 14 variants of the Fronx. This edition features both 1.0-litre turbo and 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engines. This edition stands out with its red and grey style kit, black and red front and rear bumper garnishes, and illuminated door sill guards.
On the inside, it boasts a 9-inch touchscreen Smart Play Pro+ infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also gets wireless smartphone charging, a semi-digital instrument console, a Head-Up Display with turn-by-turn navigation, and a 360-degree camera.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny Discounts
Coming to the discounts currently being offered with the Maruti Suzuki Jimny. Previously, the Jimny was listed with discounts of up to Rs 2.5 lakh. However, this month, the company has increased these discounts to Rs 3.3 lakh, an increase of Rs 80,000.
The top-end Alpha trim benefits from a Rs 1.8 lakh cash discount. It also gets an additional Rs 1.5 lakh off for buyers opting for Maruti Suzuki Smart Finance (MSSF). This brings the total potential savings to Rs 3.3 lakh for the Alpha variant.
Additionally, the Jimny Zeta trim is also included in these generous offers. It gets benefits worth up to Rs 2.75 lakh with the MSSF scheme. The discounts vary based on the variant and city, so potential buyers are advised to check with local dealers for exact figures.
The Jimny is currently priced between Rs 12.74 lakh and Rs 14.95 lakh before discounts. Both the Zeta and Alpha variants are powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. This motor delivers 101 bhp and 134 Nm of torque. The vehicle comes with both manual and automatic transmission options.
In terms of features, the Jimny is well-equipped. It comes with a low-range transfer case, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets a reverse parking camera, an Arkamys audio system, 15-inch alloy wheels, headlight washers, LED headlights, and automatic climate control.
