Maruti Suzuki is offering its flagship hybrid MPV, the Invicto, with a massive discount. This is the first time that this hybrid MPV, which is based on the already immensely popular Toyota Innova Hycross, is getting discounts of up to Rs 1.25 lakh. Yes, you heard that right. You can get the exact same vehicle as the Innova Hycross without waiting for a long time and even get such a substantial discount as well. Here are the details of Maruti Suzuki Invicto’s discounts and why it is a great alternative to the Innova Hycross.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto: October Discounts

First off, let’s jump directly into the discount details of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto. This particular hybrid-only MPV is offered in two variants. The first is the Zeta variant, and the other is the Alpha variant. Maruti Suzuki is currently offering the more expensive Alpha variant with a promotional discount offer worth Rs 1,00,000.

It should be noted that this Rs 1 lakh discount can only be availed by customers if they choose MSSF (Maruti Suzuki Smart Finance). Additionally, the same Alpha variant is also being offered with a Rs 25,000 exchange bonus. Another catch is that it will only be applicable if the vehicle being exchanged is a Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, XL6, or Tour M.

Apart from these discounts on the Alpha variant, the lower Zeta variant is only being offered with the exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. Like the Alpha variant, it will also only be applicable if the above-mentioned vehicles are being exchanged by the buyers.

Why is the Maruti Invicto a Great Alternative to the Toyota Innova HyCross?

If you are a Toyota Innova Hycross fan but do not want to wait through the long waiting period, or you do not want to pay a premium of Rs 3-4 lakh for the vehicle, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto is a great alternative for you. Here are the reasons why you should consider buying it.

Lower Price

The first and most important reason to get a Maruti Suzuki Invicto over the Innova Hycross is to save a lot of money. The Invicto’s top-spec variant is priced at Rs 29.01 lakh, while the Innova Hycross’ top-spec variant is priced at Rs 30.98 lakh. So with the Invicto, you can save up to Rs 1.97 lakh.

It should also be noted that this saving is before the application of discounts. If you opt for the Invicto, you can also get the Rs 1.25 lakh discount as well. This makes the Invicto Rs 3.22 lakh cheaper, which is a great deal.

Shorter Waiting Period

Presently, even if you do not want any discounts that the Invicto is being offered with and you want to get the Innova Hycross ZX or ZX (O) variant, you will have to wait for six months. And if you want the vehicle early, you will have to pay a massive premium of Rs 3-4 lakh. However, if you choose the Invicto, you can get any variant and any color readily.

Better After-Sales Network

Another added benefit of buying the Maruti Suzuki Invicto over the Innova Hycross is the extensive service network of Maruti Suzuki. MSIL is currently the largest carmaker in India, so naturally, it has the largest dealership network in the country. So if you opt for the Invicto, you will never have to worry about the service of the vehicle.

Almost All the Same Features

Even though you pay Rs 3 lakh less than the Innova Hycross, with the Maruti Suzuki Invicto, you are essentially getting the same features. The Invicto’s features include the same 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment systems with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and the same overall dashboard layout.

It also gets the same captain’s chair in the middle row, but it misses out on Ottoman-style seats, which the Hycross Hybrid gets. The Invicto has six JBL speakers instead of nine and misses out on ADAS. However, apart from these, both are identical.

Same Hybrid Powertrain

Mechanically, both of these models are the same. The Invicto gets the same 2.0-litre petrol engine with a strong hybrid system developed by Toyota. This drivetrain produces a maximum power of 184 bhp and 209 Nm of torque. Both cars come equipped with eCVT gearboxes, and there is no option for a manual transmission with either.
