7 Cool Maruti Cars From The Bharat Mobility Expo 2025

The Maruti Suzuki pavilion at Auto Expo ( now Bharat Mobility Expo) usually has some exciting concept cars on display. This time was no different. The Maruti Suzuki (MSIL) stall had 7 concept cars based on various existing models, the most striking of which were the Jimny Conqueror, Grand Vitara Adventure, and Swift Champion. Here’s a quick look at these:
The Jimny Conqueror looks more rugged and has an improved ‘go-anywhere nature to it. It is finished in a Desert matte colourway. You can also see bold ‘Jimny’ and ‘4×4’ graphics on doors and near the rear windows. The vehicle also features all-terrain tyres and off-road focussed accessories like a winch and shovel. The latter is mounted on the tailgate-mounted spare wheel.
The Jimny is powered by a 1.5L (1462 cc) naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 103 bhp and 134 Nm. Both manual and 4-speed automatic transmissions are on offer.
Another notable concept is the Grand Vitara Adventure. This was the first time that the adventure edition Grand Vitara has had a public showcase. It wears a military green shade exterior colourway. The ORVMs are blacked-out, and so are the alloy wheels. the SUV also gets special graphics depicting ‘mountains’ and the ‘4×4 AllGrip’ logos.
This concept is based on the turbo variants of the sub-4m crossover. The exterior colourway is Silver and there are prominent ‘Turbo’ decals, on either sides of the body and on the hood. Other highlights are a new grille garnish, and Black wheels and ORVMs.
The pavilion also had the Swift Champions edition on display. This special edition hatchback has a bold Red finish. Racing-inspired decals run across the doors, rear fenders and even the hood. The vehicle also gets sportier front and rear bumpers, blacked-out multi-spoke alloy wheels, and a rear spoiler.
The Invicto is the Maruti version of the Toyota Innova Hycross. The Executive edition concept gets a Beige-themed cabin, unlike the darker theme on the regular car. The seats get a hexagonal pattern design and there are Bronze accents around the centre console, side AC vents, and door pads.
It was recently that Maruti Suzuki launched the new fourth-generation Dzire in India. An Urban Luxe concept based on the same was showcased at the Expo. There are, however, no major design changes. The sedan gets a lot of accessories though. These include a chrome grille surround, chrome side mouldings, and chrome garnishes for the rear bumper.
The Urban Luxe package makes the sedan look cooler and more luxurious. However, if you are not a fan of Chrome, this might not be the right concept for you.
The new-generation Brezza has been a popular choice in its segment. Maruti Suzuki showcased a concept-only Brezza at the Expo- called the Brezza Powerplay. It gets a Copper-ish orange exterior paint. The car has also been specced with accessories and body graphics. The front and rear bumper extenders, body side mouldings, and ‘Brezza’ body decals on the doors are all part of the customisations.
Most of these Maruti Suzuki concept cars would remain concepts and are unlikely to make it to production. Some of them, if we are to say, stand a chance of getting accepted if put into production- like the Jimny conqueror, Invicto Executive and the Dzire Urban Luxe.
