In a bold move to boost mid-year sales and clear older inventory, Maruti Suzuki has rolled out a series of aggressive offers across its NEXA portfolio for July 2025. Some models now come with total benefits exceeding ₹2 lakh. But these are not just flat cash discounts. They include a mix of exchange bonuses, accessory kits, extended warranties and scrappage offers, designed to appeal to different types of buyers.

This July campaign spans popular models like the Grand Vitara, Fronx, Baleno, XL6 and the brand’s flagship MPV, the Invicto. For anyone in the market for a new car, especially in the premium hatchback or compact SUV segments, the current deals could make a compelling case.

Invicto sees sharpest benefits yet

Topping the discount chart is the Invicto, Maruti’s most expensive offering. The strong-hybrid MPV, based on the Toyota Innova Hycross, is now available with benefits of up to ₹2.2 lakh. These are offered in the form of a direct cash discount, an exchange bonus and a complimentary extended warranty.

The Alpha Plus variant offers the highest total benefit, while the Zeta Plus variant follows closely at ₹1.15 lakh. The scale of these benefits indicates a slowdown in the premium MPV segment and perhaps the need to adjust stock levels as competition from Toyota and others intensifies.

Grand Vitara strong-hybrid gains the most

The Grand Vitara is another key model seeing substantial price relief, particularly in the strong-hybrid variants from model year 2024. These trims come with a combination of ₹70,000 cash discount, ₹80,000 exchange bonus and an extended warranty valued at ₹35,000. In total, buyers can save up to ₹1.85 lakh on these versions.

Even the regular mild-hybrid and petrol variants attract discounts of up to ₹1.65 lakh. These include bundled benefits like the Dominion Edition accessory kit worth nearly ₹58,000, along with exchange and cash incentives.

CNG versions of the Grand Vitara are also part of the offer, though benefits are more modest with ₹20,000 cash and ₹50,000 exchange bonus.

Fronx Turbo gets performance and a price cut

The Fronx, especially the 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol versions, gets benefits totalling up to ₹1.18 lakh. These include a ₹60,000 cash discount, ₹10,000 exchange bonus and a scrappage incentive of ₹15,000. Buyers also receive a free Velocity Edition accessory pack worth ₹43,000.

The Fronx Turbo has not seen the same sales success as the 1.2-litre petrol trims, largely due to its pricing being close to larger SUVs. These discounts seem aimed at correcting that value gap and making the turbo variants more accessible to those who want performance without stretching into Brezza territory.

Lower trims and 1.2-litre variants also receive limited benefits, around ₹15,000 to ₹45,000 depending on the variant and fuel type.

Baleno continues to draw buyers with added value

Despite being one of the top-selling premium hatchbacks, the Baleno is also on the July discount list. Customers can choose between a direct cash discount of up to ₹45,000 or opt for a free Regal Edition accessory kit worth about ₹51,000. On top of this, there is a ₹15,000 exchange bonus and a ₹25,000 scrappage benefit.

For existing Swift and Baleno owners looking to upgrade to a new Baleno within three years, Maruti is offering an additional ₹55,000 upgrade bonus. All put together, total benefits can cross ₹1.1 lakh for the right buyer profile.

XL6 and Jimny get smaller but still useful offers

xl6

The XL6, which caters to family car buyers looking for premium comfort in a compact MPV format, offers up to ₹25,000 in exchange or scrappage benefits. While the benefits here are lower than some of the SUV or hybrid offerings, they can still influence a buying decision for someone considering the Carens or Ertiga.

The Jimny, still recovering from sluggish sales, gets a straight ₹70,000 cash discount on the top Alpha variant. Other variants remain untouched by this offer.

What you should know

What stands out in this discount campaign is the mix-and-match structure. Maruti is not simply slashing prices across the board. Instead, the carmaker is offering buyers a combination of tangible savings such as cash, exchange or scrappage, with added value in the form of extended warranties and accessories. This layered strategy caters to both price-conscious and feature-seeking customers.

Buyers should note that many of these benefits apply only to specific model years, mostly MY 2024 stock, and higher variants. That means availability could vary by location, and offers may not be extended beyond July.

Still, for anyone planning to bring home a NEXA car soon, this is one of the best windows in recent months. Whether it is a tech-loaded Grand Vitara hybrid or a stylish Baleno with add-ons, Maruti is making a strong pitch to keep its showroom traffic flowing this monsoon season.
