The Grand Vitara was, in fact, the first product to be developed in collaboration between Toyota and Maruti Suzuki. The mid-size SUV is doing well in terms of sales and is available with both strong hybrid and mild hybrid technology. Maruti is also offering the AWD feature in the higher mild hybrid variants of this SUV.
The SUV is currently being offered with discounts worth Rs 1.35 lakh. This includes a cash discount of Rs 50,000, a scrappage benefit of Rs 65,000, and additional benefits of Rs 20,000. Apart from the scrappage bonus, Maruti is also offering an exchange bonus worth Rs 1 lakh — but only one of these offers can be redeemed.
The Invicto is offered with a 2.0-litre strong hybrid engine, which comes with an e-CVT gearbox as standard.
