Suzuki Motor Corporation has finally officially revealed the all-new e-Vitara. This new model is based on the Maruti Suzuki eVX concept, which was showcased at the 2023 Bharat Mobility Auto Expo. Its grand unveiling took place in Milan, Italy, and its Indian debut has been scheduled for the 2025 Bharat Mobility Auto Expo. Today, we bring you all of the images of this brand-new electric SUV from Maruti Suzuki.

The upcoming Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara is based on the Heartect-e skateboard platform. It has been developed with Toyota. Dimensionally, the e-Vitara measures 4,275 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, 1,635 mm in height, and has a 2,700 mm wheelbase. It also offers a decent ground clearance of 180 mm.

As stated, the e-Vitara, which is the production version of the eVX concept, has stayed true to its concept design. It continues to boast the same futuristic and premium appearance with a few minor changes.

At the front, it gets Y-shaped LED DRLs along with projector LED headlights. It also has a closed-off grille. The front bumper of this SUV looks aggressive, and there are fog lights on the lower portion of the bumper. The overall front fascia of the e-Vitara has an upright stance.

Moving on to the side profile, the e-Vitara boasts a set of hexagonal, thick wheel arches. It also gets chunky side claddings on the doors. The company is also offering the e-Vitara with two sizes for its alloy wheels – 18-inch as well as 19-inch wheels.

Additionally, the front gets standard pull-type door handles, while the rear doors get hidden door handles on the C-pillar. It also has ORVMs with turn indicators and 360-degree cameras.

At the rear, the company has managed to keep it very clean yet still very rugged. It gets a connected LED taillight with a clear lens. There is also an integrated spoiler, a shark fin antenna, and a wiper on the rear windshield. Additionally, the SUV also gets thick claddings on the rear bumper.

Taking a step inside, it can be immediately noted that the e-Vitara offers the most premium interior of all Maruti Suzuki models currently on offer. It gets a dual-tone interior with tan and black leather and fabric upholstery.

The center is dominated by a big infotainment screen, which is connected to another screen for the digital instrument gauge cluster. Additionally, there are four vertically positioned AC vents with brushed silver surrounds that add to the premium appeal.

Controls for the air conditioning system have been placed in the center, and there is also a rotary dial on the center console. Additionally, instead of offering a physical handbrake, Maruti Suzuki is offering the e-Vitara with an electric handbrake button.

Another major highlight of the e-Vitara’s interior is the offering of the flat top and bottom steering wheel. So far, this two-spoke steering wheel has not been featured on any other Maruti Suzuki model. Other features of the e-Vitara will include ADAS, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

Coming to the powertrain details, the e-Vitara will be offered with two battery pack options. The first will be a 49 kWh, and the second will be a 61 kWh battery pack. The 49 kWh battery pack model will come with 144 bhp and 189 Nm of torque.

Meanwhile, there will be a 174 bhp and 189 Nm torque variant as well. Lastly, the company will also be offering a dual-motor AWD variant with 184 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. The range on the top-of-the-line model is expected to be around 500 km.
