Maruti Suzuki's New eVitara TVC Showcases EV's Premium Interiors

Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for the launch of its first-ever electric vehicle, the e-Vitara, in India. The brand's first EV SUV is expected to be launched by the end of March this year. Prior to this official launch, the company is now releasing new detailed TVCs of this SUV, showing the design details. Recently, a video showing the premium interior of the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara has been shared online.
This video of the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara’s interior design details has been shared on YouTube by Nexa Experience on their channel. The interior of the e-Vitara is one of the most unique and luxurious interiors ever designed by Maruti Suzuki. It boasts a ton of premium elements and hi-tech features that have not been featured on any other Maruti Suzuki vehicle.
The TVC released by Maruti Suzuki first shows the main highlight of the e-Vitara's interior, which is its two connected digital displays. The electric SUV gets an integrated casing in which the display on the left is a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Meanwhile, the one on the right is a 10.1-inch digital instrument gauge cluster.
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will be offered with the e-Vitara. It also gets a unique multifunction steering wheel, which has a flat bottom as well as a flat top. Apart from the screen, the dashboard gets unique vertically positioned air conditioning vents and controls for the infotainment system.
Another highlight of the e-Vitara's interior is its twin-deck floating center console. The top portion houses the unique rotary drive mode selector. It has to be pressed and then rotated to select the driving mode. The vehicle also gets different terrain modes, and it also gets an electronic parking brake as well.
On the lower deck of the floating center console, there are ports for USB Type-C charging and space to store things. Other unique details of the interior of the e-Vitara are its premium materials, which have been used to add a touch of premium-ness to the interior.
It gets brown soft-touch pads on the dashboard with 3D print. It also gets black soft-touch material on other parts of the cabin and dashboard. There are satin-plating and piano black elements in the interior of this SUV as well. Apart from these, the e-Vitara also comes with multicolored ambient lighting, front ventilated seats, and a powered driver seat as well.
On the outside, the e-Vitara gets Y-shaped LED DRLs and projector LED headlights. It also gets a closed-off grille, a faux silver skid plate, and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with aero discs. The SUV at the rear gets clear taillights, which get an extension in the middle. However, the LED taillights are not connected.
As for the powertrain options, Maruti Suzuki is offering the e-Vitara with two different battery pack options. The first is the smaller 49 kWh battery pack, which will come paired with a front-axle-mounted electric motor. It will be able to generate 144 bhp and 189 Nm of torque. Apart from this, the SUV will also get a larger battery pack option of 61 kWh.
This battery pack option will have two variants: a 174 bhp and 189 Nm torque variant, which will be front-wheel drive, and a dual-motor AWD variant with 184 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. The range on the top-of-the-line model is expected to be around 500 km. However, the exact figures, along with pricing, will be announced at the time of its official launch.
