Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Official TVC Released (Video)
The country’s largest automaker, Maruti Suzuki India, after waiting on the sidelines for a long time, has launched its first all-electric model. We are talking about none other than the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara all-electric SUV. The SUV has been unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo, and now the company has released its first proper television commercial. The official launch of the e Vitara is expected to take place sometime this year.

The official television commercial of the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara EV SUV has been shared on YouTube by Nexa Experience on their channel. It starts off with a few different protagonists driving the all-new e Vitara. Following the clip, it can be noted that first, a financial markets trader can be seen looking at the charts of stocks.
Soon after this, the video switches to the scene of the new e Vitara in a desert with the same trader. After this, a driver (artist) is shown driving the new e Vitara through the snow effortlessly. Following this, we can see the e Vitara in the hands of a calm wildlife photographer.
Next up, the e Vitara is shown with another lady. However, this particular lady is depicted to demonstrate that the e Vitara can be used extremely aggressively as well. Finally, the video shows a designer, with the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara being compared to their creations.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara: Details
Maruti Suzuki, at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo, has unveiled the production version of the e Vitara. This first electric vehicle from Maruti Suzuki is based on a Heartect-e skateboard platform. It has been developed from scratch, and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Electric will also be based on the same platform.
On the outside, the new e Vitara comes equipped with Y-shaped LED DRLs and LED projector headlights. It also gets a closed-off grille integrated with parking sensors and a camera. As for the side profile, this SUV comes equipped with large aero blade-style alloy wheels. The front door handles are standard on this SUV.
However, the rear door handles are hidden on the C-pillar. The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, at the rear, gets a roof-mounted spoiler, all-LED taillights with a connecting LED strip in the middle, and a macho-looking rear bumper with plenty of cladding and a silver skid plate.
Interior Design
The interior of the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is one of, if not the most, premium cabins that we have ever seen from the brand. It comes equipped with a twin-deck floating-type center console. It also gets a connected 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment system.
There is also a flat-bottom steering wheel, rectangular air conditioning vents, and single-zone automatic climate control. Other features of the e Vitara include multiple driving modes: Sport, Eco, and Normal. Additionally, it comes equipped with ventilated seats with 10-way adjustment. Finally, its safety features include 7 airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, and Level 2 ADAS.
Powertrain Options
The soon-to-be-launched Maruti e Vitara will be offered in India with two battery pack options. The first will be the smaller 49 kWh battery pack, and the other will be a 61 kWh battery. Both of these packs have been sourced from BYD and offer a maximum range of 500 km. Most likely, the Indian version will be launched with a 2WD configuration.
