Maruti Suzuki is offering major discounts across its Nexa portfolio this August, with total benefits climbing as high as ₹2.04 lakh on select models. These offers come at a time when carmakers are clearing existing stock ahead of the festive season and anticipating upcoming launches. The discounts combine several components including cash benefits, exchange bonuses, scrappage incentives, corporate discounts, and upgrade offers. While almost every Nexa product sees some form of price reduction, the most notable deals are on the Grand Vitara, Baleno, Ignis, Fronx, and Invicto.

The Grand Vitara strong hybrid variants command the highest discounts this month. Customers opting for the top-end variants of the hybrid SUV can save up to ₹2 lakh. This figure includes a cash discount of up to ₹1 lakh on pre-facelift versions and up to ₹1.5 lakh on facelifted models, depending on variant and dealer location. Additional benefits include a ₹50,000 exchange bonus or a ₹65,000 scrappage incentive, but buyers must choose between the two. These discounts are clearly aimed at boosting hybrid sales and moving unsold inventory of older stock.

The Baleno, Nexa’s best-selling premium hatchback, is also seeing strong offers. Petrol variants are available with benefits of up to ₹1.15 lakh, and automatic versions get an extra ₹5,000, bringing the total to ₹1.20 lakh in some cases. The discount package includes a Regal Edition accessory kit worth over ₹50,000 bundled with consumer benefits, as well as exchange and scrappage bonuses. Baleno CNG buyers can avail up to ₹47,000 in benefits, though that figure is noticeably lower than the petrol variants.

The Ignis, positioned as an entry-level hatch in the Nexa lineup, is also part of the August offer drive. Automatic variants carry benefits up to ₹62,100, including a ₹30,000 cash discount and scrappage or exchange bonus options. Manual variants get slightly lower benefits, maxing out around ₹57,000. These offers reflect both the market push for automatics and the relatively slower sales pace of the Ignis in recent months.

For buyers interested in compact SUVs, the Fronx comes with discounts of up to ₹75,000. The top discounts are seen on the 1.0-litre turbo petrol variants, which come bundled with either a Velocity Edition kit or straight cash benefits along with exchange bonuses.

Lower-spec petrol and CNG variants see more modest offers, with benefits generally ranging between ₹25,000 and ₹35,000. This variant-specific strategy appears designed to push the higher-margin turbo versions and clear specific trims.

Maruti’s premium MPV, the Invicto, has also entered the discount fold with offers up to ₹1.40 lakh. This is noteworthy given the model’s relatively recent arrival and Toyota underpinnings. The benefits include cash discounts and scrappage bonuses aimed at attracting buyers in the Rs 20–25 lakh segment. In contrast, the XL6, another MPV in the lineup, receives more conservative discounts of around ₹25,000, indicating more balanced inventory and sales trends.

Across all models, corporate discounts of ₹2,000 to ₹4,000 are being offered to employees of eligible organisations. These can be combined with other benefits and are often used to close deals during end-of-month or quarter-end pushes.

One of the clearest signs of how serious the brand is about pushing sales comes from some dealers bundling extended warranties or offering financing deals with low interest rates. In Mumbai, for instance, some Nexa outlets are offering a three-year warranty extension on select Grand Vitara variants at no additional cost, while others in Delhi NCR are including accessory packs worth ₹25,000 on top of the regular discounts for Baleno automatic variants. Such location-specific deals are being used to entice buyers in competitive urban markets.

With many of these offers valid only till the end of August or until stocks last, and with festive-season pricing expected to tighten up, buyers looking to purchase a Nexa vehicle now have several good reasons to act quickly.
