3 Maruti Suzuki Cars Selling At 1 Lakh+ Discounts!
A few years ago, the country's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki, did not offer its cars with huge discounts. However, due to increasing competition and the constant influx of new models in the market, Maruti Suzuki is now offering huge discounts on its vehicles. Currently, three models from the brand are getting discounts of over Rs 1 lakh, and the rest of the models are also getting significant discounts.
Three Maruti Suzuki Cars Getting Rs 1 Lakh+ Discounts
First off, let's talk about the Maruti Suzuki vehicle that is getting the maximum amount of discount. The Invicto, a premium hybrid MPV based on the Toyota Innova Hycross, is getting a Rs 1.15 lakh benefit in the form of a scrappage bonus. It should be noted that there are no cash discounts on this MPV.
The Maruti Suzuki Invicto starts at Rs 25.51 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 29.22 lakh. It is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with an electric motor as part of the strong hybrid system. This system generates a combined power of 184 Bhp and 209 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an e-CVT gearbox.
The next car in the Maruti Suzuki lineup to get a massive Rs 1.1 lakh discount is its mid-size SUV, the Grand Vitara. This model is being offered with a cash discount of Rs 50,000. On top of this, there is a Rs 65,000 scrappage bonus and a Rs 20,000 upgrade bonus on select variants. It should be noted that the base Sigma variant and the CNG variants do not get any cash discount.
Lastly, the lifestyle off-roader SUV Jimny from Maruti Suzuki is also getting a Rs 1 lakh discount. The SUV is being offered with a Rs 1 lakh cash discount, and it is only limited to the top-of-the-line Alpha variant of this SUV. Currently, the Jimny starts at Rs 12.76 lakh and goes up to Rs 14.81 lakh.
The Jimny comes equipped with a 1.5L NA petrol engine (K15B) that was used in the previous-generation Brezza. It produces 103 Bhp and 136 Nm. A 4AT automatic transmission is offered alongside the manual. It competes with the Mahindra Thar Roxx and the Force Gurkha five-door in India.
Discounts on Other Popular Maruti Suzuki Models
Apart from the above models, other Maruti Suzuki cars are also getting significant discounts. These include Rs 72,100 discounts on the Maruti Suzuki Ignis with an AMT gearbox. The manual version of this hatchback is getting a total discount of Rs 67,100. The Baleno premium hatchback is getting total benefits of Rs 50,000, and the Ciaz is getting a Rs 45,000 discount.
The XL6 premium MPV, which sits under the Invicto, is getting a small discount of Rs 25,000, and the Fronx crossover is getting a Rs 35,000 cash discount and a free Velocity Kit worth Rs 43,000. Both the Baleno and Fronx share the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which makes 90 PS and 113 Nm of torque. The Fronx also gets an additional engine option of a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, which makes 100 Bhp and 148 Nm of torque.
