Currently, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris is the most talked-about mid-size SUV in the market. It was recently launched to undercut the segment champion, Hyundai Creta, and give a new flagship vehicle to the Maruti Suzuki Arena lineup of cars. So far, you may have seen detailed reviews of the top-spec Victoris online. However, here is a detailed video review of the Victoris’ mid-spec VXI variant.

The detailed walkaround video of the Maruti Suzuki Victoris VXI variant has been shared on YouTube by Fuel Injected on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger talking about the pricing of the Victoris. He mentions that the VXI variant, according to him, is the most value-for-money variant. It starts at Rs 11.8 lakh and goes up to Rs 16.38 lakh.

Powertrain options

Following this, he starts talking about the powertrain options of this SUV. He mentions that the VXI variant comes with all three engine options. The first is a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a mild hybrid making 103 PS of power and 139 Nm of torque. Then there is the 1.5-litre petrol strong hybrid setup, which makes 115 PS and 141 Nm of torque. The Victoris VXI also comes with the underbody CNG tank-equipped CNG powertrain as well.

Exterior design

After talking about the drivetrain options, the vlogger starts showing the exterior design of the Victoris VXI. At the front, it gets a sharp-looking fascia. Being the mid-spec variant, it does not get connected LED DRLs on the front. Instead, it gets a chrome strip and a set of sleek headlights with a halogen projector setup. Another thing it misses out on is fog lights.

Moving to the side profile, the vlogger highlights that the VXI variant gets 17-inch steel wheels with wheel covers. It also gets auto-folding and electrically adjustable ORVMs, blacked-out side claddings, and request sensors on the front doors. The vlogger then shows the rear end of this SUV, which comes with connected LED taillights, a rear camera, and rear parking sensors.

Interior design

Moving on, the vlogger then takes a seat inside the Maruti Suzuki Victoris VXI. He mentions that the mid-spec variant gets fabric upholstery, gloss black elements on door panels, three-point seatbelts, and headrests for all passengers. It also gets a decent amount of legroom, and the under-thigh support is also sufficient.

He then shows the dashboard layout of this SUV and highlights that Maruti Suzuki has given it a completely new design. It gets a floating 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, a new steering wheel, cruise control, and a central armrest. It does not come with the panoramic sunroof offered in the more expensive variants.

Talking about the safety features of the Victoris, he highlights that the SUV has scored a perfect five-star rating in both Bharat NCAP as well as Global NCAP. It comes equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-hold assist, ISOFIX child seat anchor points, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, traction control, overspeed alerts, and more.
