Maserati MCPura And Cielo Sportscars Launched At Rs 4.12 Crore
Maserati has introduced the MCPura coupe and the MCPura Cielo convertible in India. The coupe is priced at Rs 4.12 crore and the Cielo at Rs 5.12 crore, both ex-showroom and before options. The cars arrive roughly three months after their global reveal at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2025.
The positioning is simple. One body style with a fixed roof, one with an opening glass roof, both aimed at buyers who want a mid-engined supercar with current tech and a clear upgrade path over the outgoing MC20.
Powertrain and performance, at a glance
Both variants use Maserati’s 3.0 litre twin turbo Nettuno V6. Output is listed at 630 horsepower and 720 Newton metres. An eight speed dual clutch gearbox sends power to the rear wheels.
Claimed performance figures are 0 to 100 kmph in 2.9 seconds for the coupe and 3.0 seconds for the Cielo. Top speed is a claimed 325 kmph for both. Drive modes include GT, Wet, Sport, Corsa and ESC Off, altering throttle response, shift logic, damping and stability control to suit road or track use.

A new AI Aqua Rainbow finish debuts on the range, shifting its appearance with light and angle. The coupe wears a matte version of this colour while the Cielo applies it in gloss. Badges and scripts carry magenta tones with blue mica flecks. Maserati keeps the butterfly doors and the carbon-rich surfacing that define the car’s stance.
Structure, cabin and roof tech
Both cars use a carbon fibre monocoque. Maserati quotes a kerb weight for the coupe at about 1,500 kg, targeting a strong power to weight figure for this class.
The convertible hardware adds modest mass but not enough to change the claimed performance numbers. Inside, the update centres on Alcantara with laser etched patterns that create a layered effect. Seat shells and trim are new, with red and blue themes available.
Detailing mirrors the exterior logic. The coupe gets glossy highlights while the Cielo uses matte. In the Cielo, the retractable electrochromic glass roof opens and closes in around 12 seconds and can switch from clear to tinted at the touch of a button.
