Cricketer Matthew Hayden Hands Over Mahindra XUV 3XO To 1st Batch of Buyers [Video]
XUV 3XO is the latest product to roll out from Mahindra’s stable this year. The Indian SUV manufacturer launched this heavily revised version of the XUV300 in the market a few months ago. The bookings for the all-new XUV 3XO started on 15th May, and it received an overwhelming response from customers. Within an hour after the booking started, Mahindra received over 50,000 bookings for this SUV. The deliveries for the XUV 3XO commenced on 26th May, 2024. Here we have a video where Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden is seen handing over the keys of the Mahindra XUV 3XO to first set of customers.
Within 2 days, Mahindra delivered over 2,500 units to customers. Mahindra dealerships in Chennai and Bengaluru even organized events to make this occasion special for customers. The video covers the whole event and even shows how Matthew Hayden handed over the keys to customers and interacted with the people. He was wearing Indian attire and was trying to blend in. Matthew Hayden is, in fact, the brand ambassador for Mahindra in Australia.
As mentioned above, Mahindra received an overwhelming response from buyers for its XUV 3XO. The price for a brand-new Mahindra XUV 3XO starts at Rs 7.49 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes up to Rs 15.49 lakh, ex-showroom. The exterior and interior of the SUV have been revised in such a manner that it looks like a brand-new SUV.
The XUV 3XO gets a very different-looking front fascia, distinct from any other car in this segment. The SUV comes with C-shaped LED DRLs, projector LED headlamps, front parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, redesigned alloy wheels, and redesigned tail lamps with an LED connecting bar.
The interior of the SUV features an ice grey and black dual-tone combination. The lower variants will have a different theme. There are several segment-first features offered with the XUV 3XO too. For example, this is the only SUV in the segment to offer Level 2 ADAS features. Mahindra is also offering a panoramic sunroof, which no other rivals in this segment offer.
Mahindra is offering a fully digital instrument cluster, a large 10.35-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, leatherette upholstery, dual-zone climate control, and many more features.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO is available with three different engine options. There are two turbo petrol engine options and a turbo diesel engine on offer. There is a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine that generates 110 PS and 200 Nm of peak torque.
The other petrol version uses a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine that generates 130 PS and 230 Nm of peak torque. The 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine generates 115 PS and 300 Nm of peak torque. The petrol versions are available with manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions. The diesel is available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT gearbox option.
