MG's Fastest Car - Cyberster - Begins Arriving At MG Select Dealerships [Video]
Morris Garages (MG) is set to launch its fastest car- the Cyberster in the Indian market, on July 25, 2025. The electric sports car has now started reaching MG Select dealerships across India. A video showing one of the units being unloaded from the carrier at a 'Select' showroom has now been shared online.
It starts by showing workers opening the carrier doors. As they open, the Cyberster can be seen parked inside, secured by towing ropes. It has the Diamond Red colourway. MG will likely offer the Cyberster in three more colours- Inca Yellow, Ivory White, and Andes Gray.
The dealer staff soon gets the vehicle unloaded safely. With the exciting colourway and the striking design, the MG Cyberster is indeed a crowd magnet. We see people gathering around it as soon as the car is out of the truck. It seems to include dealer staff and passers by.
The video gives a detailed look at the Cyberster's design. We see the sleek body lines, LED headlamps, Black fabric roof, beautiful alloy wheels (could be 19 or 20-inch units), bold side skirts and the rear diffuser.
A guy then opens the driver-side door with the key fob. The Cyberster comes with electrically operated scissor doors. These come with specialised sensors and radars to detect proximity and contact. They come with advanced anti-pinch technology as well.
Later in the video, we see the car with its roof down. It is seen being moved to a more secure place, likely by a dealer staff.
MG Cyberster: What Do We Know About It Yet?
In its styling, the Cyberster takes inspiration from the original MG B Roadster from the 60s. It has a two-seater, two-door design. It remains to be seen if MG would offer colour choices for the soft top. They are, however, available on the global spec. It is safe to expect these, as MG has plans of bringing the vehicle as a complete import.
In India, the Cyberster will come with a 77kWh battery pack and a two-motor setup. It will thus have AWD (All Wheel Driver). The Cyberster is claimed to do the 0-100 kph sprint in just 3.2 seconds- thanks to the impressive powertrain output of 510 hp and 725Nm, and the AWD onboard. It is thus the world's fastest MG roadster! The car is claimed to deliver a CLTC range of 580 kilometers per charge
The Cyberster will use double wishbones at the front and a five-link unit at the rear as its suspension setup. This arrangement, MG says, will provide a likeable balance between ride and handling. The car will further have a 50:50 weight distribution.
In terms of features, we expect the Cyberster to come equipped with a three-screen setup (doing infotainment, instrumentation and other duties), automatic climate control with seat ventilation, ADAS, 360 degree camera, powered seats, electronic parking brake with auto hold, auto-dimming IRVM, premium audio system and more.
To Be Sold Through MG Select !
MG has been setting up a new premium retailer network called the 'MG Select' in different Indian cities. This chain of outlets will sell many of the carmaker's upcoming products (which would mostly be priced in the premium and luxury spaces) like the M9, Cyberster and even the Majestor.
The Select network will have a strong focus on delivering a premium purchase experience for the buyer. 'Select' showrooms will all have dedicated workshops and trained professionals to further enhance ownership experience. Initially, 12 such outlets will be set up. More showrooms will be added in the time ahead.
