eHub App by MG Motor Crosses 100,000 Downloads

JSW MG Motor India has announced that its electric vehicle (EV) charging app, eHub by MG, has crossed 1 lakh downloads. This milestone highlights the app’s rapid growth as one of India’s most trusted EV charging platforms. Notably, the eHub is also said to be India's largest interoperable charging network in the country.
The app connects users to 12,500+ fast charging points through partnerships with 33 major charging companies, including Jio-BP, Shell, Adani, Chargezone, Statiq, Zeon, and BPCL. It also features station ratings and reviews, helping EV drivers choose reliable charging stops.
With eHub by MG, users of any EV brand can locate, book, and pay for charging sessions seamlessly. Since its launch, the app has powered 1.3 million kWh of energy, supported 3.8 lakh green trips, and planned more than 176 million eco-friendly kilometers, making long-distance EV travel more convenient.
Neha Jain, Head of EV Ecosystem at JSW MG Motor India, said, and we quote:
The growing popularity of eHub by MG shows that people in India are ready for a complete EV ecosystem. The app is simple to use and gives customers the confidence to travel long distances in their EVs, aligning with our campaign message, ‘EV Sahi Hai’. Our focus remains on building the widest charging network while keeping convenience at the core.
MG has steadily built a strong electric portfolio in India. The ZS EV, launched in 2020, remains a practical family SUV, while the Comet EV caters to urban commuters with its compact and affordable design.
The Windsor is India's best selling electric car, and the Pro model - launched earlier this year with higher range and features - had strengthened MG's position even more.
This year, MG also launched three headline-making models:
Windsor Pro - an all electric car meant to make India's best selling EV more practical and feature-rich, especially for those who want longer highway range.
Cyberster - an all-electric roadster that blends futuristic design with high performance, aimed at enthusiasts looking for excitement in an EV.
M9 - a luxury electric MPV offering comfort and space, designed for families and business users.
Together, these models show MG’s ambition to cover every EV segment, from everyday city driving to luxury performance. In the coming months, MG is likely to replace the ZS EV with the new S5, which has already made its debut in the UK market.
To match its expanding product line, MG recently introduced MG Select, a new range of premium dealerships across India. These outlets offer a luxury car-buying experience, with high-end interiors, personalized services, and exclusive access to MG’s flagship vehicles like the Cyberster and M9. MG Select underlines the brand’s shift towards premium positioning while keeping its EV focus intact.
Alongside cars and charging, MG continues to strengthen the EV ecosystem with its ‘EV Sahi Hai’ campaign, highlighting cost savings, environmental benefits, and growing charging availability.
These efforts have also translated into strong sales. MG’s market share in the passenger EV segment rose from 28% in Q1 2025 to 32% in Q2, with overall EV sales climbing 28% in the same period.
