MG Hector Gets Massive 2.4 Lakh Off Under 'Power Pack' Scheme: Details

The mid-size SUV segment is one of the most competitive in the Indian market. Almost every manufacturer has at least one product in this segment. The segment consists of models like the Maruti Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, MG Hector, Honda Elevate, Kia Seltos, and many more.
To attract customers, JSW-MG Motor is now offering a scheme that translates to a combined savings of around ₹2.40 lakh for the customer. JSW-MG Motor calls this the ‘Power Pack’ scheme for prospective Hector owners. Under this scheme, JSW-MG Motor is offering five compelling benefits to its customers.
These include an attractive 4.99% interest rate on financing (ROI), an extended warranty for added protection, complimentary accessories to personalize the vehicle, roadside assistance for uninterrupted journeys, and a 50% reduction in Road Tax (RTO).
The combined value of these benefits is around ₹2.40 lakh. JSW-MG claim that with these benefits in place, the Hector is a value-for-money SUV. Discounts are definitely something that every new car buyer looks for when they are in the market. JSW-MG mention in their press release that this is a limited-time offer, valid until March 31, 2025.
JSW-MG also claim that their new initiative will encourage customers to upgrade from a sedan or smaller SUV to a popular mid-size SUV, the MG Hector. The MG Hector was India’s first internet-enabled SUV or the first SUV to feature connected car technology. Launched in 2019, it quickly became popular among buyers for its premium looks and features. The SUV has received updates multiple times since its launch.
The SUV comes with premium features like a 14-inch HD infotainment display, over 75 connected car functionalities, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, advanced safety features including ADAS Level 2, electrically adjustable seats, seat ventilation, leatherette upholstery, a fully digital instrument cluster, a multi-function steering wheel, connected car features, and more. The SUV features a large front grille that meets the dual-function LED DRLs, LED headlamps, large dual-tone alloy wheels, LED tail lamps, a sharp-looking design, and more.
JSW-MG recently revealed that the cost of maintaining the Hector is actually much lower than many of its competitors. JSW-MG claim that the cost of maintenance for the Hector is only ₹500 per month. Additionally, JSW-MG state that the Hector is a leader in retaining its resale value within this segment.
JSW-MG mentioned that independent studies, including a recent analysis by Droom, have validated the SUV’s exceptional resale value, outperforming competitors like the Tata Harrier and Mahindra XUV700. The study demonstrated that the Hector retains 70-75% of its value, a testament to its robust engineering, durability, and consistent market demand.
The MG Hector SUV is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine that generates 141 BHP and 250 Nm of peak torque. The diesel version uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that generates 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. The petrol version of the Hector is available with manual and CVT gearbox options, while the diesel only gets a manual transmission. Prices for the Hector start at ₹13.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to ₹22.89 lakh (ex-showroom)
