3 Cars To Launch At MG Select: Details

JSW MG Motor India is planning to set up a new range of premium retailer facilities across India, named ‘ MG Select’. These will be set up in different parts of the country in a phased manner. We now have information on the first three products that will launch through Select dealerships. Here is a quick look at these:

MG Cyberster- First Half Of 2025

The next big launch from JSW MG Motor India is going to be the Cyberster electric sportscar which would likely become India’s most affordable EV sportscar when launched this year. The India-spec vehicle was unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Expected price is around 60 lakh, ex-showroom. The Cyberster will have a two-door convertible design and will come packed with features.

The MG Cyberster will feature iconic scissor doors and 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Other key design features include black ORVMs, arrow-shaped LED taillights, a wide rear diffuser, an electrically operable roof, and LED headlamps. Four colours will be available- Dynamic Red, Inca Yellow, Cosmic Silver, and English White.

The interior gets a Red-Black dual-tone colourway. Expect features like a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen,8-speaker premium Bose audio, ADAS and a 7-inch touchscreen for AC controls. The dashboard gets a fighter-jet-inspired design. The car also gets 6-way electrically adjustable bucket seats and a sporty multifunction flat-bottom steering wheel.

The MG Cyberster will come with a 77 kWh battery pack. It will have a dual-motor setup that produces 510 PS and 725 Nm. There will thus be AWD system on offer. MG claims the Cyberster to go from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The expected range is around 443 km.

MG M9 (End Of 2025)

When launched, the M9 will become India’s most expensive MG. This electric luxury will be large in size and have a lot of room, tech and features on the inside. It will have a wheelbase of 3.2 metres. The India-spec was showcased at Delhi Auto Expo 2025.

The MG M9 will have a sleek blanked-off front grille with trapezoidal air intake vents, vertically stacked LED headlights and eyebrow-like LED DRLs, boxy silhouette, sliding electric doors, chrome accents, wraparound LED taillights and connecting light bar.

On the inside, the luxury MPV will have a floating touchscreen infotainment system, dual sunroofs (single-pane and panoramic), 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 7-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, rear entertainment screens, a wireless charger, an air purifier, three-zone climate control, a 12-speaker premium audio system. and long-running AC vents.

The vehicle will come in both 7 and 8-seater configurations. The mid-row will have electrically operated Ottomans. There will also be massage and ventilation functions for the seats.

MG Majestor (First Half, 2025)

The Majestor will be MG’s answer to the Toyota Fortuner Legender. This SUV will be launched in the first half of 2025, and will essentially be a rebadged Maxxus D90. Globally, this is the facelifted Gloster. In India, however, it will sell alongside the Gloster, as a more premium product. Though not confirmed officially, the interior would closely resemble that of the global car.

The Majestor will come with the same engine and transmission options as the Gloster. The 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine would produce 216 bhp and 479 Nm. There will be 4WD hardware on offer as well.
