India-bound MG Windsor EV In A Walkaround Video

Multiple news sources have confirmed that MG will soon be launching the Wuling Cloud EV based MG Windsor EV in the Indian market. Today, we will cover the car in depth via a walkaround video uploaded on YouTube by King Indian.
The host starts the video with the introduction of the crossover. He mentions few key points such as the MG Windsor EV can drive about 460 kilometers in a single charge and it may be priced around Rs. 20 lakh. He further adds that the Windsor EV may be launched in two trims only.
The interior of the car is shown first where the host highlights its unique looking seats. Commenting on the seats, he mentions that they offer superior comfort which is further enhanced by powered seats. The interior of the MG Windsor EV gets multiple unique elements on the door pads.
The overall design of the cabin is quite different from what we have seen in cars in the similar price bracket. All in all, the cabin is quite minimalistic with no buttons at all. All the functions of the Windsor EV such as multimedia controls, climate control, etc. are operated by the 15.6 inch floating infotainment screen that offers wireless connectivity as well. The instrument cluster is an 8.8 inch fully digital display.
The front row gets five cup holders and additional storage space in the armrest, glove box and the door pads. Additionally, the center console also features a large storage space with charging ports. The host shows the quality of the 360 degree camera setup and mentions that it is one of the best camera setup he has seen. The cabin also gets a wireless charger located near the armrest.
The host highlights a disappointing bit about the Windsor EV which is the lack of the sunroof. Sunroof is one of the most demanded features in the Indian market right now and most of the cars close to the Rs. 20 lakh mark offer a single pane or a panoramic sunroof.
The host shows us the car from the exterior as well. The front and the rear profile of the Windsor EV gets connecting LED lights and an all LED lighting setup. Following the industry trend, the headlights are mounted on the bumper. The MG Windsor EV also gets 18 inch alloy wheels and flush door handles.
The host also shows us the boot space of the car. First, he shows that it gets powered tailgate. Talking about the space, he adds that the boot is massive and one person can easily fit in the boot. The spare wheel is mounted under the body which allows even more space in the boot. Furthermore, the second row seats can be split in 60:40 to increase the boot space even more.
The rear seats also get the same cushiony treatment as the front seats. The host shows us the more than enough space the Cloud EV offers in the second row. He also shows us the frunk of the car which can be opened to access all the maintenance related parts such as windshield washer fluid.
The battery pack and motor details are not confirmed yet. However, it is expected to be powered by a 50.6 kWh battery pack, offering a range of up to 460 km.
