MG Motor India is moving fast with its portfolio expansion under the JSW partnership. As promised, they are set to launch a new car every 3 to 6 months. At the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year, MG showcased a series of vehicles- petrol/diesel, hybrid and all-electric, which are to expected to launch in the time ahead. Here are four such models which won't take too long in debuting here.

MG Windsor 50 kWh

mg windsor ev 50 kwh

The Windsor EV is set to become even more practical for long drives. Currently, the electric crossover comes with a 38 kWh battery pack that offers a claimed range of 332 km. However, in real-world conditions, this often drops to around 250 km.

To solve this, MG is preparing to launch the EV with a bigger 50 kWh battery pack. This version is expected to deliver a range of around 460 km per charge. The new Windsor is expected to launch later this year, making it a much better choice for those who love long drives.

Expected Launch: May 2025

MG Cyberster

mg cyberster electric sportscar

One of the most exciting and highly anticipated launches from MG is the Cyberster, a two-door electric roadster/ sportscar. Also boasting the title of 'the fastest MG', it will be sold through the carmaker's new premium dealership network called MG Select, which focuses exclusively on retailing high-end models.

The MG Cyberster will come with a 77 kWh battery pack and a twin-motor setup, delivering a combined output of 510 Bhp and 725 Nm. It will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and will deliver a claimed range of 580 km. With a price expected between ₹60 lakh and ₹80 lakh (ex-showroom), the Cyberster could stand absolutely unique in the Indian automotive landscape.

Expected launch date: May 20, 2025

MG M9

Another premium model making its way to India is the MG M9 (MiFa), a full-size electric luxury MPV. It has already been showcased at several events and will also be sold through MG Select showrooms.

The M9 will be powered by a 90 kWh battery pack offering a (claimed) range of about 580 km. It will have a powertrain output of 241 Bhp and 350 Nm. With a design and size similar to the Toyota Vellfire, the M9 will target the luxury MPV market and is expected to be priced between ₹60 lakh and ₹65 lakh. The launch is expected later this year.

Expected Launch: July 2025

MG Majestor

mg majestor luxury suv

MG first showcased the Majestor at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo, as a premium SUV that would sit above the Gloster in its domestic lineup. Over the next few months, we spotted it being tested multiple times. The SUV is known to hit the market sometime next month.

In its design, the Majestor will be more muscular and imposing than the Gloster, and would fight harder against the Toyota Fortuner and Legender. It will have a revised front fascia with a reworked grille, vertically stacked LED headlamps, angular DRLs, and new bumpers. The rear will get new connected tail lamps, prominent 'Majestor' lettering and dual exhaust pipes. Expect new wheels too.

The SUV will come with a thoroughly revisited cabin design, and plenty of features. The likes of a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS are to be expected.

Under the hood, the Majestor will house the same powertrain as the outgoing Gloster- a 2.0L twin-turbocharged diesel engine. We expect the SUV to have a price premium of around 5 lakh rupees over the Gloster, more about which will only be known closer to the launch. Interestingly, the carmaker will sell the Majestor through the regular MG showrooms and not through the 'Select' network.

Expected Launch: May 2025
