When it comes to the convoys of the rich and powerful people in India, the chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani’s convoy is probably one of, if not the most insane convoys in the country. Over the last few years, the Indian billionaire’s convoy has only grown in size and now features multiple ultra-expensive SUVs, sedans, and MPVs. Recently, Mukesh Ambani’s convoy was spotted in Mumbai, and his two Mercedes-Benz S680 Guards worth Rs 20 crore, along with other cars, were seen in the video.

The video showing Mukesh Ambani’s multicrore convoy with a number of security cars and his bulletproof Mercedes sedans has been shared on Instagram by Hottest Cars in India on their page. It starts off with an MG Gloster with a full red and blue light bar, sirens, and police stickers all around. It was followed by a Range Rover Vogue with the same lights and siren, and then followed by a black Toyota Fortuner with a network jammer on top. Next, there was another Range Rover Vogue, and finally, the first of the two Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard bulletproof sedans was seen. This particular S680 Guard was finished in the shade of Gold and had the VIP registration number of 999.
Following this, 3 more Range Rover Vogues, 2 MG Glosters, and a Mercedes-Benz V-Class premium MPVs were seen. Next, there was the second Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard, which was finished in the shade of Mojave Silver. This particular car was seen equipped with the VIP registration number of 333. Although not seen in this particular video, the family owns a third S680 Guard, which is finished in a classy shade of black, and interestingly enough, this particular S680 Guard also has the same 333 VIP registration number. As for the other cars in this video, the Mojave Silver S680 was followed by another Range Rover Vogue, V-Class, and an MG Gloster. In total, there were 6 Range Rover Vogues, 4 MG Glosters, 2 Mercedes-Benz V-Class MPVs, and a Toyota Fortuner jammer.

As mentioned, the two Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard sedans seen in the video are each worth Rs 10 crore and offer the highest level of security for people like the Ambanis. The S680 Guard sedans get VPAM VR 10 certification, which is the highest ballistic certification for civilian vehicles. This certification ensures that the vehicle is not only bulletproof but also resistant to explosive charges. It also gets 3.5-4-inch thick glass all around, which is bullet- and blast-proof. What’s most interesting is that each door of this car weighs around 250 kgs, and in total, the car weighs over 2 tonnes.
In terms of the powerplant, the brand-new Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard boasts a massive V12 engine generating 612 hp and a staggering 830 Nm of torque. This 4.2-ton behemoth sedan also gets all-wheel drive, ensuring optimal traction and enhancing the vehicle’s dynamic capabilities in a situation of emergency. The car also gets specialized tires, which have been designed to continue functioning for up to 30 kilometers after a potential flat, allowing occupants to reach safety.
