The South Korean carmaker Hyundai is gearing up for the launch of a number of new models in the country. These models will be coming in the next few years and will be launched in different segments. These will include ICE and electric vehicles. If you are one of those individuals who are interested in knowing which will be these new models from Hyundai, then you have come to the right place. Here are the launch timelines of all the models coming to India.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Festive Season 2024

The first car on this list is the Hyundai Alcazar Facelift. This popular three-row SUV will become available just in time for the festive season of 2024. The new Alcazar will sport a heavily revised front fascia.

It will feature a full-width LED light bar, a redesigned horizontal grille, and revamped bumpers. The side profile will largely remain unchanged, but it will boast new multi-spoke swirl pattern alloy wheels. The rear end will also see substantial updates, including connected rectangular taillights.

On the inside, the new Alcazar facelift will adopt a new dashboard layout inspired by the Creta facelift. It will come equipped with new twin 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and driver’s display. Additionally, it will also get Level 2 ADAS, dual-zone climate control, and a ton of other features.

Hyundai Creta EV: 2025

Hyundai is also working on the development of the Creta EV. This massive market EV will be launched in India by 2025. The Creta EV from the outside will retain similar dimensions but will feature EV-specific design cues.

It is expected to get a redesigned front end, which will include fresh LED daytime running lights and aero-disc alloy wheels. The Creta EV will likely offer a driving range of 400-500 kilometers on a single charge.

Hyundai Inster EV: 2026

Following the launch of the Hyundai Creta EV, the next EV on the launch roster is the newly unveiled Hyundai Inster EV. Codenamed as the HE1i, the Inster EV is set to make its debut in late 2026. This micro-electric SUV will be built on Hyundai’s affordable E-GMP (K) platform, and it will be produced at the Sriperumbudur plant in Tamil Nadu.

The Inster EV will compete directly with models like the Tata Punch EV and Citroen eC3. It will be slightly smaller in length but will pack advanced features such as dual 10.25-inch displays for the instrument panel and touchscreen infotainment. It is also expected to get ADAS, auto climate control, and a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring.

The Inster EV will most likely be offered with two motor options delivering 97 bhp and 115 bhp and will come paired with two NMC battery packs. These will provide it a WLTP-claimed range of 300 km and 355 km, respectively.

Hyundai Bayon (Fronx Rival): 2026

The South Korean automaker is also working on the development of the all-new SUV Bayon. This crossover SUV is being designed to compete with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx and Toyota Taisor. It is expected to launch in 2026, and this model will be positioned between the Venue and the Creta in Hyundai’s lineup.

Built on the new-gen i20 platform, the Bayon will feature a coupe-SUV-like silhouette with a tapering roofline and a full-width LED light bar. On the inside, it will share many components with the i20, including the dashboard, seat, infotainment screen, and instrument cluster. The Bayon will likely offer engine options similar to the i20 and Venue.

Hyundai XUV700 Rival: 2027

Hyundai Tucson LWB

Hyundai in 2027 will be launching a localized version of the Tucson 7-Seater Extended Wheelbase. Currently, this model is already popular in markets like China and some other countries. This new model will be taking on the Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari in India.

The Tucson Long Wheelbase (LWB) will feature an elongated design with larger rear doors. Apart from this, it will come equipped with a similar bold front grille, sleek LED headlights, and a sculpted body as the Tucson facelift that will also be soon launched.

On the inside, the Tucson LWB will offer increased legroom, premium materials, a bigger infotainment system with a larger touchscreen, and enhanced connectivity features. Engine options will include 2.0-liter and 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engines, along with hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants.
