The company has already commenced reservations for this sub-compact sedan. Now, although the exact number of reservations received by the company has not been revealed, it’ll be safe to believe that the new Dzire has already crushed its competition.

Following the release of the latest crash test results from Global NCAP for the all-new Maruti Suzuki Dzire, everyone is shocked because the new Dzire has managed to achieve a perfect five-star safety rating. However, there are still a number of reasons why the Dzire can already be considered the best vehicle in its segment.
Refined Looks
Over the years, the Dzire has always been seen as the extended version of the popular hatchback Swift. However, for the fourth-generation model, Maruti Suzuki has changed a lot of things. This time around, the Dzire gets its unique identity and now looks a lot more refined and mature.
It gets a brand-new front-end design with a new large grille, new LED headlights, and a completely redesigned side profile and rear-end design. At the moment, the new Dzire is the best-looking sub-compact SUV.
Tried and Tested Package
The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is considered by many a complete package. Now, with the fourth-generation model, it becomes an even better vehicle. It gets the same tried and tested powertrain and interior as the Swift, which buyers already love.
On the inside, it has a feature-loaded cabin with segment-first features like a sunroof and other creature comforts. As for the powertrain side of things, the new Dzire gets the brand’s newest engine, the Z12E three-cylinder petrol engine. It will make 80 bhp and 112 Nm of torque.

Dzire’s primary rivals, including the Hyundai Aura and the Honda Amaze, have also scored a poor two-star rating. The only rival that offers a decent safety rating is the Tata Tigor, which offers a four-star rating. So now, with the demand for safer vehicles increasing in the country, the Dzire will definitely become a huge hit.
Outdated Competition
Presently, all of the rivals of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire have become outdated. Starting off with the Hyundai Aura, it is a decent vehicle, but it does not impress anyone. On the other hand, the Honda Amaze, which is a better vehicle, has not seen any significant design change in a while. This makes it very outdated.
Although Honda is working on the launch of the new-generation Amaze, Maruti Suzuki’s early launch of the Dzire will blow away the upcoming Amaze. As for the Tata Tigor, it is already a slow-selling vehicle, and with the Dzire now becoming a lot more modern, it won’t stand a chance.
