Next-Generation Hyundai Venue: Launch Date Revealed

Hyundai is India’s second-largest car manufacturer, and they have a variety of models in their lineup. One such popular model in their portfolio is the sub-4-metre SUV, Venue. It has been in the market for quite some time, and a generation update has been due for a while. Hyundai has been testing the next-generation Venue on our roads for some time, and now we have details about the launch date of the SUV. The next-generation Hyundai Venue SUV will be officially launched on October 24 this year.
We have come across several spy pictures of the upcoming Hyundai Venue on the internet. From the spy pictures and render images, it is clear that the exterior design of the next-generation Venue is going to be different from the outgoing model.
It is expected to get a Creta-like wide front grille with a connecting LED bar or welcome light bar at the front. It will also get a drop-down LED DRL with an angular design. The split headlamp design is carried forward to the next-generation Venue as well. It looks like Hyundai will be offering LED projectors for the lower variants and quad LED lights for the higher variants of the SUV.
To add to the muscular SUV look of the Venue, Hyundai is likely to offer a sophisticated-looking bumper with a faux skid plate. Coming to the side, the next-gen Venue will get a boxy design with large windows. The 16-inch alloy wheels will also get a new design. The door handles are pull-type units, and as we move to the rear, the boxy design can be seen here as well. We see revised all-LED tail lamps, and it is likely to get a connected LED bar like its bigger sibling.
The position of the turn indicators is actually not within the tail lamp cluster. They are placed on the rear bumper, similar to what we have seen on the Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder. The SUV will also get an integrated roof-mounted spoiler, muscular bumper, and faux skid plate at the rear as well.
Coming to the interiors, as usual, Hyundai is expected to offer a premium-looking cabin. Hyundai is likely to offer a cabin inspired by the bigger SUVs like the Creta and Alcazar. It is expected to get a curvilinear display, multi-function steering wheel, all-digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, leatherette seat upholstery, and so on. It will also get Level 2 ADAS, which is also offered in the Mahindra XUV 3XO.
The next-gen Hyundai Venue will be offered with the same set of petrol and diesel engine options. There will be a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine with a manual transmission, a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with manual and 7-speed DCT gearbox options, and the diesel version will use a 1.5-litre turbo engine. The diesel version, as of now, only gets a manual, but it remains to be seen if Hyundai will offer an automatic variant with the next-generation model.
Hyundai, as usual, will try to price the Venue quite competitively. It will rival the likes of the Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Skoda Kushaq in the segment.
