Next Generation Mahindra Bolero: What It Could Look Like

When we think of Mahindra Automotive, the first names that come to our mind are Scorpio-N, XUV700, along with Thar and the newly launched BE 6 and XEV 9E. However, what a lot of people do not know is that currently, and for a long time over the years, the Bolero has maintained its position as a consistent seller in India. Now, there are reports that the company is planning to launch the new generation Bolero in India. Today, we have got our hands on a render of the upcoming Bolero which will blow your minds.
These detailed rendered images of the Mahindra Bolero have been shared on X by The Auto Freak on their page. In these images, the designer has imagined and showcased what the upcoming generation of the Bolero could look like. This time around, the Bolero will get a much more futuristic yet bold and muscular design, continuing the lineage of the current model.
First off, let's start with the exterior design of the upcoming generation of the Mahindra Bolero. At the front, this new model will boast a very modern-looking fascia. This rendered model gets a hexagonal grille with vertical slats, which are common on a lot of popular Mahindra SUVs. The LED headlights are also very sleek and have a DRL surrounding the complete perimeter of the headlight units.
On the lower portion of the front fascia, we can note an aggressive front bumper with a silver skid plate on the bottom. Moving on to the side profile, this rendered iteration gets chunky, squared-off wheel arches finished in matte black color. As for the alloy wheels, they are 10-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels, which give this SUV a premium appearance.
There is also a strong shoulder line which runs across the side profile of the vehicle. Additionally, the window line is also completely straight, and it gets A, B, and C pillars along with a set of integrated roof rails on top. Moving to the rear, the main highlight is the addition of a spare wheel, which has been offered on all Mahindra Boleros over the years. The SUV also gets sleek LED taillights as well.
The same post has also shared the rendered image of the interior of the new generation Bolero. We can note that despite being very contemporary, it still has maintained a lot of simplicity and has not been over-engineered. The main highlight of this interior is the large, free-standing touchscreen infotainment system in the center.
Apart from it, the cabin also gets simple air-conditioning vents with some silver garnish, and there is also automatic climate control. This particular rendered model has an automatic gearbox, and there is an electronic parking brake instead of a standard pull-type handbrake. Other notable highlights are a digital instrument gauge cluster and a multifunction steering wheel as well.
Now, whether this exact design will be seen on the production version of the Bolero has not been confirmed as of yet. However, what has been reported is that the company will most likely be unveiling the new generation Bolero at the August 15th Independence Day event, which it organises every year.
