All New Maruti Dzire Fully Unmasked As It Reaches Dealerships Ahead Of 11th November Launch [Video]

Much awaited launch from Maruti Suzuki this year is the next-generation Dzire. The car has been spotted testing several times and it is expected to get launched in the market next month. It looks like Maruti Suzuki is done with the testing and has already started the production of this compact sedan. We now have a new video that shows the upcoming Maruti Dzire undisguised ahead of launch.

The video has been shared by autojournal India on their Instagram page. In this Instagram reel, we see production version of the Maruti Dzire. We see not one but two of these upcoming sedans parked outside a trailer. It looks like the cars were brought from the production facility for TVC shoot or for display at dealerships.

As mentioned above, we see two Maruti Dzire sedans. First one is finished in a Deep grey shade while the one behind it gets a Deep Red or Maroon shade. In the video, we see the exterior the car pretty well. The next-gen Maruti Dzire gets a completely new design. Unlike the previous generation, it is not simply an sedan version of the Swift.

With this generation, the Dzire gets an identity of its own. It gets a wide front grille with a thin chrome slat running across the width of the grille. The chrome strip actually meets an elements inside the headlamp cluster. The headlamps look all LED units with turn indicators on the lower part of the cluster. We are not sure if it comes with a LED DRL or not.

There is LED fog lamp on the bumper. The front of the car does look sharper than the previous generations. Just like the front, the video also shows the rear of the upcoming Dzire sedan. We see Dzire branding on the left hand side of the tailgate. The tailgate gets a chrome applique like the outgoing model.

The tail lamp design of the sedan is also different from the previous generation. It is an all new unit with LED elements in it. Maruti has attempted to give a premium look. We see tri-arrow like elements inside the tail lamps of the sedan. We are not sure if the sedan seen here was the top-end variant as we could not see an electric sunroof.

The sedan however does come with alloy wheels, turn indicators integrated on the ORVMs and beige coloured interiors. The sedan is offered with fabric upholstery in the lower variants and the higher versions might get the leatherette upholstery. We are expecting features like 360 degree camera, floating 9 inch touchscreen infotainment system, multi-function steering wheel, colour MID, automatic climate control and so on.

The engine on the upcoming Dzire is going to be the same as the Swift. It will use the brand new 1.2 litre, 3-cylinder, natuarally aspirated petrol engine that generates 80 Bhp and 112 Nm of peak torque. It would be offered with a petrol option initially and at a later stage CNG will be introduced. It will be offered with a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox option. The sedan will be officially launched on November 11th and it will rival with the likes of Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor in the segment.
