2024 Nissan Magnite Exports Commence To South Africa

Nissan India launched the updated or refreshed Magnite SUV in the market lasst month. During the launch Nissan spoke about their new strategy. Building on its ‘One Car, One World’ philosophy, Nissan Motor India has commenced exporting the New Nissan Magnite to South Africa. The Nissan Magnite getting exported to South Africa is being manufactured at Nissan’s Alliance JV plant in Chennai. Nissan has shipped over 2700 units of the New Magnite SUV from the Chennai port within a month after its international launch in India.

The refreshed or facelifted Nissan Magnite was launched in October this year. Nissan has made several minor updates to the exterior of the SUV. It gets a redesigned front grilles, slightly blacked out headlamps, revised LED tail lamps, alloy wheels and so on. The front skid plate has also been revised to give the SUV a much more butch or SUVish look.
The side profile of the SUV remains unchanged and the car gets new set of 16 inch alloy wheels. The design of the wheels are different from the previous version. Nissan is offering the new Magnite in 13 colour options.
Coming to the cabin, Magnite gets a dual tone theme. The SUV gets black and orange shade for the interiors. The new theme of the cabin along with leatherette upholstery gives the car an upmarket feel. Nissan also said during the launch that the leatherette material on the seats come with a heat insulation technology.
The Nissan Magnite comes with features like touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 7 inch digital instrument cluster, ambient lights and so on. Other than these features, Nissan is also offering a 360 degree camera, wireless phone charging, 6 standard airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill start assist, traction control, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.
Nissan launched the 2024 Magnite at a starting price of Rs 5.99 lakh. This introductory price is only applicable to the first 10,000 customers. Coming to the engine, everything remains the same. It gets two engine options. There is a 1.0 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 71 Bhp and 96 Nm of peak torque.
The next engine option is a 1.0 litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged engine that generates 100 Ps 152 Nm of peak torque. The naturally aspirated petrol engine is available with a manual and and AMT gearbox option. The turbcharged engine is available with a manual and CVT gearbox option.
