Platform and Architecture

The upcoming Nissan Tekton SUV will be a badge-engineered version of the next-generation Renault Duster, which will be launched in India soon. Both SUVs are based on the CMF-B modular platform. This is a flexible architecture that will help these brands offer multiple different powertrain options.

Design Details

Now, coming to the design details of the Nissan Tekton, the SUV draws its inspiration from its sibling, the Patrol, which is the brand's flagship SUV globally. The Tekton, at the front, will get a very bold, squarish, and upright stance with a flat nose. The main highlight of the front will be the C-shaped LED DRLs, which will get a connected LED light bar in the middle.

As for the main headlight units, it will get horizontally stacked, sleek LED headlights, which will be nearly integrated into the DRL. Other notable highlights of the front fascia will include a wide trapezoidal grille with twin chrome bars stretching from one end to the other. The front bumper of this SUV will also be very bold and muscular and get silver inserts along with four front parking sensors.

Moving on to the side profile, the Tekton will get a double C-shaped motif on the front fender, which ties in the front end and side. The boxy silhouette of the SUV, combined with squared-off wheel arches with chunky claddings, adds to the macho stance of this SUV.

The SUV will also be offered with a set of large, multi-spoke alloy wheels. Another key highlight of the Tekton’s side will be its hidden rear door handles. These handles will be placed on the C-pillar, giving it a cleaner look. Also, there will be integrated silver roof rails on top as well.

The Nissan Tekton, at the rear, will continue to boast the same macho stance and offer similar connected C-shaped LED taillights. The rear will also get an integrated rear spoiler, a chunky rear bumper with thick claddings, and a silver skid plate to round off the overall rugged, aggressive, yet sophisticated design.

Interior

Presently, Nissan has not revealed the interior design images of the Tekton. However, it is expected to get a layered dashboard with generous use of high-quality materials such as piano black, chrome, and soft-touch plastics. The main highlight of the Tekton's cabin will be a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, and a 360-degree camera.
