It’s been more than a month since the launch of the 2024 Swift which is enough to know about the advantages and disadvantages of a car. Hence, we can see multiple reviews of the hatchback. Today, we will cover one such review which is uploaded by Tarun Vlogs3445 on YouTube.

The car featured in the video is the base trim which has been tastefully modified along with the base to top conversion. Additionally, the wheels of the car have been replaced with 17-inch aftermarket alloy wheels.

The owner of the 2024 Swift also owns the third generation of the Swift. He states that he does not regret his purchase at all. He did not like the interior of the old Swift but he absolutely loved the interior of the 2024 Swift. This car cost him around Rs. 7.65 lakh on road in Delhi.

Talking about the modifications, the lighting setup has been upgraded. Projector fog lamps are installed in place of the regular fog lamps. The headlamps have been upgraded to feature a multi colored projector and red DRLs which add a whole new vibe to the front profile.

As mentioned earlier, the car is loaded with 17-inch alloy wheels which look beautiful. He mentions that lift is necessary in this car as whenever he loads the car or people sit in the second row, the body touches the wheels. This problem has occurred due to the upsized aftermarket alloy wheels and you won’t face this issue with the stock wheels.

The rear profile is entirely stock. Functional modifications in this car include 360 degree camera, ORVMs with electric folding and adjustment functionality, audio upgrade and steering mounted controls. The centre stage in the interior is taken by the Range Rover inspired infotainment system which looks beautiful.

This system features wireless connectivity and 360 degree camera compatibility. The throw of the upgraded headlights is also shown in the video. However, it is not advised to get your headlights upgraded to such extent that it blinds the other drivers on the road.

Talking about the performance, he adds that even though it is powered by a three cylinder engine, the refinement is commendable and it delivers enough power. Regarding the mileage figures, he easily gets 19 to 20 kmpl on highway and about 10 to 12 kmpl in city traffic.

The new Swift is powered by a 1.2-litre three cylinder Z series engine which delivers a power output of 80 PS and 111 Nm. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT. A CNG-Petrol dual fuel option is said to be in the works for launch by the end of this year.

The overall cost of the modification is not mentioned as this is an ongoing project. The car is still a work-in-progress, and the exact cost is likely to be revealed once it’s fully modified. For now though, it’s clear that the all-new, 4th generation Maruti Swift has a massive fan following in the modifications circuit. Expect to see many more modified examples in the days to come.
