Pratap Bose, Chief Design & Creative Officer at Mahindra, is the person behind the design of several recent Mahindra products, including the XUV 3OO. He is also the one who redesigned the Mahindra logo. A video of Pratap Bose has recently surfaced online, showing him taking delivery of a brand new XUV 3XO SUV for his mom.

The video was shared by Mahindra XUV 3XO on their official Twitter page. The same post was retweeted by Pratap Bose, who wrote, “One of the most special deliveries to the one that delivered me! Thank you @MahindraXUV300 and team!” In this video, we see Pratap Bose’s mother entering the Mahindra dealership.

She speaks about how she always knew that Pratap was interested in cars and shares a couple of school-time stories where Pratap got into trouble with teachers for drawing cars.

After the launch of the XUV 3XO, Pratap’s mother showed interest in the car and asked him to buy her one. Pratap Bose promised to get her one, and on his mother’s 75th birthday, the XUV 3XO was gifted to her.

In the video, Pratap Bose can be heard saying that he has been in the industry for many years, and this is the first time he is buying a car that he has designed. He is happy that the first-ever car he is gifting is to his mother.

Mahindra launched the all-new XUV 3XO in the market a few months ago. Like many other Mahindra products, the XUV 3XO also gained popularity among buyers for its competitive pricing. The SUV is a heavily revised version of Mahindra’s XUV300 SUV. It became so popular that it received over 50,000 bookings within one hour after the bookings commenced.

Deliveries for the SUV have also begun, and the manufacturer has delivered over 3,000 units of the XUV 3OO through dealerships across the country. The price for a brand-new Mahindra XUV 3XO starts at Rs 7.49 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes up to Rs 15.49 lakh, ex-showroom.

The XUV 3XO features a very distinct front fascia, different from any other car in its segment. The SUV comes with C-shaped LED DRLs, projector LED headlamps, front parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, redesigned alloy wheels, and redesigned tail lamps with an LED connecting bar.

Mahindra is offering an ice grey and black dual-tone combination for the interiors, with the lower variants getting a different theme. There are several segment-first features offered with the XUV 3XO. For example, this is the only SUV in the segment to offer Level 2 ADAS features. Mahindra is also offering a panoramic sunroof, which none of its rivals in this segment offer.

It also comes with a fully digital instrument cluster, a large 10.35-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, leatherette upholstery, dual-zone climate control, and many more features. The Mahindra XUV 3XO is available with two turbo petrol engine options and a turbo diesel engine.

There is a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine that generates 110 PS and 200 Nm of peak torque. The other petrol version uses a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine that generates 130 PS and 230 Nm of peak torque. The 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine generates 115 PS and 300 Nm of peak torque. The petrol version of the SUV comes with manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission options, while the diesel version gets manual and AMT gearbox options.
