Renault Dealerships Revamped Ahead Of New Duster Launch: New Look Called R Store

The Indian subsidiary of the French automotive giant Renault is undergoing a massive transformation. In order to position itself as a more premium brand, the company has now completely redesigned its dealership. Recently, Renault India inaugurated its first-ever newly designed dealership, called the new ‘R Store,’ in Ambattur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. What makes this particular R Store even more special is that it is the first Renault dealership in the world to get the new format. Also, the company has now refreshed its logo as well.
As part of this transformation journey, all Renault dealerships will now get the brand-new Renault logo and a black facade on the outside of the dealerships. Apart from this, the main highlight of the new dealerships of Renault will be the all-new modern, fresh, and contemporary design on the inside.
The company, in order to enhance the premium appeal, will use signature lighting and premium seating. It aims to improve the customer experience with all of these changes. Renault dealerships will now have the vehicles showcased at the heart of the facility. With this, the brand wants all of its customers to view the cars from all angles.
Additionally, all the key customer service areas, like after-sales reception, customer lounge, and sales advisor offices, have been moved to the perimeter of the showroom. Renault has stated that this will increase accessibility and will provide a much more premium experience to the customers. Apart from these, additional facilities have been added in the new ‘R Stores’ to enhance the customer service experience.
Renault has stated that all the new Renault dealerships that will open in India will follow the new ‘R Store’ format. Also, all of the existing dealerships will be gradually revamped as well. This will be done to match the new global standards of the brand. According to the company, close to 100 Renault dealerships will be revamped by 2025. As for the complete transformation, it will be completed by 2026.
Renault India is working on the development of three new models, which will be launched this year. The first will be the facelift of the Triber, an affordable MPV. This model is expected to make its debut in the first half of this year. As part of its update, it will come equipped with a new exterior design, a new Renault logo, and lighter cabin colors. The powertrain option of the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine will remain the same.
